I hoped that Harry calmed down by the next morning. Given his whole Sirius situation. But apparently not so at breakfast.

"That was a lie, Harry." Hermione said sharply when Harry told us what he did. "You didn't imagine your scar was hurting and you know it!"

"So what?" Harry asked. "He's not going back to Azkaban because of me."

"Will you just drop it?" Ron asked.

Luckily in the terms of Harry, Hermione dropped the subject. Too bad we didn't have Quidditch to distract ourselves from all of this. It was kind of a shame to see my Firebolt sitting uselessly in the Dorms. And on top of that, Ryan didn't have his Quidditch either and he was bored. All of us were.

And another downside was that our lessons were getting much more difficult and demanding, in particular, Defense Against the Dark Arts.

When we entered the classroom that day, Mad Eye intended to use the Imperious Curse on us, so he could demonstrate it's power and see whether any of us resist it.

"But- but you said it was illegal, Professor." Hermione protested. "You said to use it against another human was-"

"Dumbledore wants you taught what it feels like." Mad Eye pointed out. His magic eye swirling around. "If you'd rather learn the hard way- when someone's putting it on you so they can control you completely- fine by me. You're excused. Off you go."

He pointed his fingers towards the door. Hermione went rather pink and mumbled something. It seemed like Hermione would rather gargle Bubotur pus than miss an important lesson. Ironic.

"I stay." I said. "I don't want anyone to hurt me like that again."

"You're a brave girl, Miss. Bauer." Mad Eye told me. He mentioned nothing about my brothers. Something I found odd.

Mad Eye began to beckon students forward in turns and put the Imperious Curse on them I watched as my classmates did a lot of extraordinary things under its influence. And by extraordinary, I mean, odd. Dean hopped three times around the room, while singing the British National Anthem. Lavender imitated a squirrel what with even going as far as to get so obsessive over a nut only to have everything go wrong with it. And Neville performed a series of intense gymnastics he most certainly would not do in his normal state. So much so, that he could compete for the British Gymnastics team for the Olympics. Gymnastics were now an Olympic event. Not any of them were able to fight the curse off, and each of them only recovered when Mad Eye removed it.

"Yeah... that figures. Although, I do have to admit that was an impressive split with your legs, Longbottom." Mad Eye commented. "You... might want to go to the Hospital Wing after all of this. Ouch."

"Yeah... I agree." Neville said in a high pitched voice with his legs split and his face numb with pain.

"Miss. Bauer." Mad Eye went up to me. "You're next."

I stepped up nervously. "Don't worry. I won't make you do anything horrible." He assured me. "Imperio."

I had felt this before. At first it feels like there's a floating sensation at first. Every thought drifting away. It feels like a Jedi Mind Trick. And then I heard Mad Eye's voice in my head. "Steal Potter's wand."

My legs moved towards Harry. "No. Don't." I heard another voice in my head say.

"Steal Potter's wand." The voice said again. My arm was reaching out now.

"You're not a thief anymore." The other voice argued.

"No." I said.

"Steal it now!"
