Three years ago it was the students first year starting Elmore Junior High and everyone was just getting into the swing of things and doing everything they can to fit in and make friends. So far they survived three weeks of school and obviously had to deal with Gumball's shenanigans which they didn't really mind at all because it very interesting.

Alan was floating in his seat in Miss Simian's class getting ready for today's test. He wasn't really prepared for it but he was positive that he could pass the test anyways. It was a really just a normal school day for him but he knows he would just try and make the most out of the day.

Miss Simian: Alan you need to go to the principals office for who knows what.

Tobias: Ohh man you're in so much trouble man.

Alan: Well good thing I know who to blame when I get there.

Banana Joe: Are you gonna blame Leslie?

Leslie: Hey don't drag me into this!

Alan: I will see who to blame when I get there.

Miss Simian: Just go before I give everyone here detention.

Alan: Alright I'm going right now.

Alan wondered why he was needed in the principal's office but he was positive that it wasn't him getting into trouble for anything. In fact he's been praised by the whole school staff for his good behavior and attitude that they could trust him with anything. He knows that once he gets inside Principal Brown's office he will get his answer.

*Meanwhile with Carmen*

She was not in a good mood at all. Her parents had decided that Franklin Junior High wasn't the place to go due to her own reputation. She didn't really blame them, she knows that she was hanging out with the wrong people and living her life the wrong way. When she walked into Elmore Junior High she saw how much the students really connected with each other and wondered what having someone who cares about her was like.

She was in the principals office with parents who were explaining why they wanted their daughter to transfer here. Principal Brown suggested that it was best that a student can show her the ropes and her parents agreed to it.

Principal Brown: I know the best student for this situation.

Mrs. Verde: I think that will be a very good idea.

Mr. Verde: Thank you for all your help.

Mrs. Verde: You will have a good education here Carmen.

Carmen: I know I will for you.

*There's a knock on the door*

Principal Brown: That must be him right now. Come in Alan!

Alan: You need anything sir?

Principal Brown: Alan I need you to chaperone a new student for about a month. This is Carmen Verde.

Carmen: Hey.

Principal Brown: Her parents would like it if she has someone to lead her in the right direction.

Alan: I would be honored to do it. Just as long as she doesn't pop me or anything.

Mr. Verde: Glad we have everything settled then.

Mrs. Verde: I trust him and I hope you can trust him too.

Carmen: I know you do.

Mr. Verde: We'll pick you up after school.

Mrs. Verde: Be good for us.

Carmen: I guess I will.

Principal Brown: Why don't you two head off to the cafeteria for lunch. You two have fun.

Alan: Lets go. I'll show you around

Carmen Didn't know it at the time but she was going to love Elmore Junior High. And Alan is going to do everything he can to help her fit in as much as Possible.
