(If you've read this book already, you'll notice that this is the first change to the book. This is about Bunny's first character. If you haven't seen this movie, you can skip this chapter. I hope you guys will enjoy this)!

Bunny's first ever acting role was in South Korea in the movie "The Man from Nowhere." She went under her birth name, Kim Chaelin. She was very young when she filmed this. She was 5 during filming and 6 during the release in 2010. This role changed her life and it introduced her into acting, something she enjoyed. This is all about her character, Yeeun.

Yeeun is a really young and sweet girl. She lives in an apartment building. She only has two friends. Somi, another little girl, and Taeshik, a pawnshop owner. Somi and Yeeun don't know his name and only call him "Ahjussi." Yeeun and Somi hang out all the time, since their lives at home aren't necessarily good. Yeeun has parents who neglect her everyday and don't care about her. Somi's mother is a go-go dancer who is addicted to heroin. Yeeun and Somi bonded over that, despite Yeeun being two years younger.

Yeeun and Somi start hanging out with Taeshik, who doesn't look approachable to others and has rumors surrounding him that he's a pedophile. This doesn't bother the two girls though and they become friends with him despite Taeshik, or "Ahjussi" having a cold and quiet demeanor. He lets them sleepover at his apartment after Somi's mother shoots up heroin and has "friends" over. Yeeun stays as well since her parents could care less about her.

After Somi comes home from school, she's upset about things that occurred that day and her and Yeeun hang out once again. Somi goes to her apartment, accompanied by Yeeun, and walks into a horrible sight. There was a man there, torturing Somi's mother with the hot end of a hair dryer. Somi's mother had stolen drugs. Somi, her mother, and Yeeun are then kidnapped by the men and after awhile, they drive away in a van. Somi and Yeeun see Taeshik chasing after the van, but the van is too fast for him and they drive away.

Somi is separated from her mother and only has Yeeun, where they're both placed with other children. They stay there for a time and little by little, some kids are taken away. The old woman who is watching the children tells them that the children who left are going back to their parents. Yeeun knows that if she gets taken and they say that, it's all a lie since Yeeun's parents don't care about her. Her thoughts are confirmed when she and Somi become separated. Yeeun catches on and she knows that it's all a lie. She makes a scene in front of Somi and the children and is finally dragged away.

The initial plan for Yeeun was to kill her and harvest her organs, but plans change after Jongseok, the man who tortured Somi's mother and was one of the men who kidnapped them, finds out that she knows. He plans to make her a slave in a drug manufacturing plant that he owns. Yeeun, despite being really young, knows that this won't end well and fights back, which ends with her being injected with heroin to calm her down. She then passes out on a medical table.

Later, she is awakened by someone. That someone, was Taeshik. He had been searching for her and Somi for the longest and finally found one of them. Taeshik asks about Somi, to which Yeeun says they were separated and warns him about what she knows. They rescue the children who were slaved in the drug manufacturing plant and Taeshik kills Jongseok.

Taeshik and Yeeun make their way to Jongseok's older brother Manseok. He rolls a jar over to them containing a pair of eyes. Yeeun knows that Somi is dead and begins to cry. Taeshik tells her to run, to which she complies. She doesn't know what happened in the place since she had run off. She is left outside in tears, not knowing where to go and is overcome with immense grief.

After awhile, she enters a parking lot, and sees Somi hugging Taeshik. She was alive. Yeeun, overcome with happiness seeing her best friends, runs and hugs them as she cries. The police arrive and arrest Taeshik. One officer takes pity on them and allows Somi and Yeeun to ride with Taeshik. As they sleep, Taeshik asks the police to drop them off at the convenience store, where he buys Somi a backpack and school supplies, since she didn't have any of them when she went to school.

Taeshik tells Somi and Yeeun that they will be on their own since the police will have to take him away. Yeeun is pretty upset that Taeshik will be leaving but she's grateful he's alive and saved them. He asks them for a hug, which they give to him, and he cries as they embrace.

This role completely changed Bunny's life and introduced her to acting and she developed a love for it. This role isn't necessarily one of her favorites, but she's grateful that this role got her into acting. She has a little bit of trauma though due to the scene where she was injected with heroin. She's also upset about this role because she wasn't well known for it and it was kind of underrated. People didn't credit her performance and focused on other actors without mentioning her. She doesn't let it bother her though as she has other roles to worry about. This was Bunny's first role, Yeeun. Let's take a look at her next role.

(That was "The Man from Nowhere!" One of my all time favorite Korean films. I hope you guys enjoyed this! Stay tuned for more)!
