I felt exhausted after school ended. I didn't have the energy to study and I felt drained. As I started leaving the building, I tried looking for my keys in my pockets.

"Sh!t. I might've forgotten my keys at home." I mumbled.

I didn't have a way of going home other than having someone else drive me there. I pulled my phone out and texted Karl.

Quackity: Hey Karl, could you drive me home? I forgot my keys again.

Karl: Sorry Big Q, I'm at a party right now and I can't come.

Quackity: Is there anyone else that can then?

Karl: Everybody else is busy tonight other than Schlatt, I have no clue what he's doing.

Well sh!t. Schlatt was the last person I wanted to see since I already felt weird around him. I instead decided to not message him and walked home, leaving my car behind. It was freezing cold outside and I only had a large hoodie for warmth. It was a 35 minute walk. As the sun kept going down, the cold only just got worse. My hoodie wasn't offering anymore warmth. I started walking slower and slower, until I felt too weak to do so. I collapsed into the fluffy snow, my vision felt fuzzy. I tried calling out for help, but nothing. After what felt like an eternity, I felt something warm touch me. I looked up but my vision was too fuzzy. I was carried and placed somewhere inside with warmth, until I closed my eyes from exhaustion.

"Hey Q, you okay?"

I heard a voice as I woke up being startled. As my eyes became less fuzzy, I noticed I was in Schlatt's bedroom.

"You're lucky I even found you out there in time."

"How'd you even find me?"

"You left your car out in the schools parking lot. I assumed you forgot your keys again."

I rubbed the back of my head in discomfort.

"I've prepared a cup of Chai Tea for you."

"Thanks I guess, but I better get going just so I don't disturb you-"

As I got up and started heading for the door, I felt Schlatt's hand grab my arm.

"You're not going out there in the cold again you idiot."

Before I could even argue, Schlatt picked me up without any hesitation.

"Let go of me!"

"You're staying here till you recover."

I felt myself getting red.

"I'm not staying here if I know Wilbur can break in."

"Say you will stay and I'll let go of you."

"Fine! I'll stay!"

As I lowered Quackity down, he looked annoyed at me and I chuckled leading to me twitching my ear.

"At least be happy I'm not busy like the others tonight."

"Whys everyone so busy tonight?"

"Eh, some sort of stupid party."

"I'm even more surprised you didn't even decide to go. You never reject invitations to parties."

"I wasn't too interested."

As we stood in silence for a few seconds, I remembered about the tea I had prepared earlier.

"I'll have to go downstairs to bring the tea up here."

As I started heading out, Quackity tugged my sleeve which stopped me.

"Can I follow you? I want to talk to you about something.."

I nodded and held out my hand for him.

I felt myself getting a little red while I held Schlatt's hand. Once we reached the kitchen, Schlatt let go and filled 2 cups of Chai Tea. He handed me a cup and it felt comforting.

"So, what was it that you needed to tell me?" He spoke.

I was hesitant at first, until I decided to tell him.

"What do you really think about me? Do you just see me as a close friend?"

Schlatt was silent for minute till he wrapped his arms around me and hugged me tightly.

"I already know what you think of me silly. I don't think the opposite of you anymore."

He softly kissed me on my forehead.

He noticed I was blushing a bright red color.

"I didn't know I could fluster you that easily."

"Shut up.."

"Whatever, pumpkin."
