chapter three

kiara's pov:

i got in the drivers seat of my car and sarah got in the passengers side. the boys all sat in the back as we drove to my house.

"i can't believe that fucking pouge got pissed at you for hanging out with us." rafe said with disgust and topper nodded in agreement. "guys just drop it." sarah said when she noticed i was getting uncomfortable with them rambling on about what happened. i gave her a quick smile before pulling into the parking lot of a liquor store.

"cameron go get some alcohol." i said as i turned to look at rafe. "why me." he asked annoyed. "because your the oldest." sarah chimed in.

he got out of the car and came back with 15 bottles of different alcohol's. "do we really need that much?" sarah asked surprised. rafe sat down and replied, "i don't know about you guys, but i'm planning on getting drunk."

"hell yea!" kelce said as i pulled out of the parking lot. "it's not even noon yet, but i mean i could use a drink." i said with a smile.

"and theres no way i'm following you guys onto the roof again." i said as i looked at topper and rafe through the mirror. everyone started lightly laughing and rafe defended himself. "come on it was fun and you admitted it."

"okay whatever." i muttered as i parked the car in my driveway. we all got out of the car and walked into my house. i didn't see my parents, so we set all the liquor up on the counter.

rafe pulled 5 pre rolled joints out of his pocket and tossed them on the bar. i walked over to the cabinets and pulled out a lighter. i set it down next to the joints before i put solo cups on the counter.

"lets play never have i ever, but we drink if we have." sarah suggested as she started pouring everyone drinks. "hell yeah." i said as i took a solo cup from her. the boys agreed and we all went and sat by the pool with our drinks.

"okay me first, never have i ever gone skinny dipping?" sarah asked and then took a sip of her drink. everyone except kelce drank. he just shrugged his shoulders before asking the next question, "never have i ever done coke."

"that was targeted." rafe said as he drank. topper nodded in agreement as he and kelce drank too.

"never have i ever cheated on my boyfriend or girlfriend?" i asked. sarah and rafe drank. "wow you guys are players." topper said and kelce laughed.

"okay whatever, never have i ever had a one night stand?" rafe asked and everyone except sarah drank. "you too kie?" sarah said feeling left out. "twice." i said before her eyes widened. "your telling me everything later." she said laughing.

i saw rafe giving me a glare but i brushed it off. the game went on until everyone had finished their drinks. i pulled off my clothes and jumped into the pool. "you guys coming?" i asked and everyone quickly undressed and followed me in.

i suddenly got pulled under the water and fought to resurface. a few seconds later i rose up from the water coughing. i turned my head to see rafe laughing, and still holding onto my waist. i swallowed before sarcastically saying, "trying to drown me now cameron?"

"your too pretty to drown." he joked before letting go of me. i felt my cheeks blush, but dunked my head underwater to avoid anyone noticing. i got out of the water when i saw sarah wave me over towards the lounge chairs. she whispered, "did i just see my brother flirting with you?" i laughed a little and responded, "no he was just trying to drown me don't worry." sarah burst into laughter before pushing me back into the pool. "you bitch!" i said as i grabbed her arm and pulled her in after me.

i turned around when rafe said, "want a joint?" as he was lighting them. "sure" i said but sarah declined the offer. he passed me one while i was still in the pool and i took a long drag.

i exhaled the smoke and immediately felt better. we all continued to drink, smoke, and swim until the sun went down.

i could barley stand i was so drunk, and i was a little buzzed on top of it. i stumbled into my kitchen to get another drink when someone grabbed my wrist. "i think you've had enough kie." rafe said as he took the cup out of my hand.

"i'll say when i've had enough." i slurred before i tripped over my own feet. "okay maybe i have." i finished as i sat down on a bar stool. i looked outside and saw kelce sarah and topper still swimming.

rafe wasn't as drunk as me but he was high. he came and sat down next to me on a different bar stool. i wasn't thinking straight when i turned around and stared into his eyes. his pupils were enlarged and his eyes were bloodshot. neither of us said anything for almost a minute.

next thing i knew, i was pressing my lips onto his. he was hesitant for a second, but quickly kissed me back and placed his hand behind my head.

after a few seconds i pulled away to breathe. "i-i don't know why i did that." i stuttered but before i could keep talking, his lips met mine once again, but this time he had been the one to kiss me.

"holy shit." he mumbled when he broke the kiss for air. "this doesn't have to mean anything if you don't want it to." i practically whispered. he thought for a minute before shrugging. i was slightly disappointed but hid it.

the next thing i knew i was fast asleep on the couch.

i woke up to sarah shaking me, so i guess they all stayed the night. "wake up kie come on." she groaned. "i'm up, i'm up." i mumbled as i sat up

"my head is killing me." i said as i stood up and walked to the kitchen. i looked around and saw topper asleep in a chair, and kelce knocked out in the ground. "where's rafe?" i asked as i took an advil and a sip of water.

i could barley remember anything that had happened the night before, and vaguely remembered swimming. "he was here like five minutes ago, i have no clue." sarah responded as she sat down on the couch.

i shrugged and went over to wake topper and kelce up, but decided they looked too peaceful. "i'm going to go up to my room to shower, i'll be down in a few." i told sarah before heading upstairs to my room.

i wasn't watching where i was going and walked straight into rafe. "shit i wasn't looking sorry." i said before putting my phone into my pocket. he looked stressed or something but i couldn't tell what. "it's fine, but can we just talk about last night?" he asked rubbing the back of his neck.

i couldn't remember anything from the night before, shit. i knew this was bad. "i was so drunk i don't remember anything. did something happen?" i asked confused. "oh no it's nothing." he replied. when he said that his voice dropped and i knew something was wrong. even though i've only known him for less than a week, it was like i could sense when something was up with him.

he started to walk away and i tried to focus on what could've happened the night before. then it all hit me suddenly, i had kissed him. part of me didn't even want to be remembering this, but i found myself grabbing rafe's arm.

"what kie?" he said a little annoyed. "i just remembered last night."
