Episode 1- Summer House final part

I was by Susannah's side as she made some brownies for the movie night. Belly walks inside from her night swim "the brownies are going in." Susannah says "go put the dvd in." Laurel says over her shoulders "do we have to watch it happened one night? can't we do something different?" Belly suggests. "but we always watch it happened one night on the first night." "well, we could watch the philadelphia story instead." Susannah suggests but Belly hesitates. "everything okay?" "yeah I'm just kind of tired, so I think that I might skip the movie and go to bed." Belly says. "okay, yeah hun sure. we can do the brownies another night." Susannah smiled. Belly walks up the stair to their bedroom. "I promised my mom I would FaceTime her tonight so I'm gonna go too" I say going up the stair to our room as well. I walked into the room to find Belly on her side in bed, I sat down on the bed and asked her "Bells is everything okay?" Belly turns around to face me "tonight, Conrad and I were talking by the pool, just the two of us. and it felt different." Belly shrugged. I started smiling maybe Conrad is finally going to do something about his feelings it's about time too "good different?" I asked trying not to sound hopeful."I don't know Jeremiah and Steven came down, and then they all just left and went to this thing on the beach." Belly explained. "Jeremiah invited me but I said I wouldn't go" I said. "well I did talk to this one guy, who asked me to come." Belly said she was referring too the cute gas station guy. "hey I have this crazy idea do you want to go to the bonfire?" Belly smiled. "Yeah let's go" I stood up from the bed and went through my clothes to find an outfit. "Taylor said that she gifted me her secret weapon." Belly laughed looking through her dufflebag. she took out a light pink mini dress. "Wow that's gonna look amazing on you Belly." "You ready?" I ask after spraying my perfume. "Yeah let's go" Belly says walking over to the door. We walk down the hall and stairs quietly trying to not make any noise in hoped that the moms wouldn't notice that we left. I knew we arrived at the bonfire when I could hear loud music playing in the distance and people shouting. I was kind of excited , I don't really like parties but after spending 2 summers doing nothing but vocal and dance lessons I want to enjoy myself. I won't drink though drunk people make me very uncomfortable. "I'm gonna kill you and Taylor." Belly slapped my arm. She had her arms wrapped around her and looked very awkward. "Hey, gas station girl!" The boy from earlier started to walk over. I grabbed Belly's shoulders and turned her to me, "Look, you'll be ok ,just have fun! Come get me if you need help or want to leave." She groaned and I patted her arm before walking away. I find the gas station guy kind of creepy and not that cute , but Belly needs experience flirting with guys. When I was walking towards the fire, I saw Jeremiah flirting with some girls and my eyes widened as I quickly turned away hoping he didn't notice me but than my eyes locked with Steven's shoot "Tristan, what are you doing here?" He drug out "Shit," I whispered to myself before turning around, "Steven, funny seeing you here!" I chuckled awkwardly and quickly walked away than I saw Belly talking to him uh oh suddenly I felt a hand grab mine I quickly turned and was ready to slap the person in the face until I saw it was Jeremiah "hey why don't you stick around me tonight I don't want any weirdos talking to you ok especially drunk people." He says in a protective tone and I just nod. We lock hands and start talking to people Jeremiah starts flirting with the girls again but he doesn't let go of my hand and I think it's annoying the girls who are trying to flirt I smile and snuggle into his side. We see Belly and Steven arguing and Steven starts to pull on her arm and she falls. "Belly. You came! Great, we can all hang out, you guys." Jeremiah says trying to ease the tension. "I'm about to take her home." Steven says in an angry matter "What? Why I'm here she can hang out with me, she has every right to be here Steven if I stay she stays." I argue. Steven went back to the girl he was with not saying a word Jere put his arm around my shoulders I smile up at him than I noticed Belly looking sad and a little uncomfortable "listen for one we're both really happy you're here." Jere said, then looked down at me I smiled at him and kissed his cheek "Hey y'all stay here while I very quickly go talk to those people over there or their never stop annoying me be right back" He said taking my hand and kissing it before walking away. "I want someone to worship me like he does you." Belly said watching as Jere made it over to the same group of girls from earlier we both wait for him to come back when I noticed a guy walking towards us looked like he was going to talk to Belly perfect. "That's my cue good luck babe." I said then went over to Jeremiah, which was good cause he started walking towards me too it was like we were in a romance movie walking in slow motion. The bonfire continued and Conrad ended up getting into a fight with a random guy over a drink so he was clearly drunk. I hated fights all together and Jeremiah knew better than to get in the middle, but of course Belly being Belly she ran right up and ended up getting elbowed in the face but the random. "Oh my god, Belly!" I said helping the girl up. "Are you good?" I asked and she just nodded her head worried about Conrad. Jere was able to break them apart just as the cops showed up. Jere grabbed my hand and we all started running to the car. Me in the passenger seat and Jere was able to put Conrad in the back, while Belly was outside talking to the guy from earlier. "Belly come on let's go get in." "Cam can give me a ride home, right cam?" She said pointing to him. "Uh yeah, yes that's no problem." Cam said. "No your not getting into a car with a guy you just met." Jere said just wanting to leave I couldn't tell if he was jealous or just worried about her not the time to be jealous. "I'm Cam Camron." He put his hand out for me to shake at least he was polite and very cute too. "Don't touch her dude, and your name is Cam Camron?" He asked not believing him. I slapped his arm I liked his name definitely unique too. "No uh it's just Cam, but we actually know each other, 7th grade Lining convention so like we're not total strangers." He said defending himself wait I was here in 7th grade how come I don't remember him? "Bells just get in the car." I said just wanting to go to home. "It's ok princess, and no offense but no Belly get in the car." Jere said brushing some of my hair out of my face and putting his hand on my knee. "Just get in the car." Conrad spoke up from the back. "Uh you should probably go, but the whaling boat that I Intern on, it leaves at dawn every morning from the piers, um I was wondering, if you um want to come?"Cam asked. "Yeah I'm sure, I mean how else would you get your hoodie back right?" Belly asked. "Yeah that's true." Cam said with a laugh. They laughed a little then belly leaned in to kiss him. I'll admit it was cute but also awkward. Then finally she got in the car. Jeremiah starts the car but soon slams on the breaks causing me to almost hit the dash. "Fuck Steven! Watch these two, I'll be right back." Jere said to Belly in the back seat than quickly kissed my cheek. Suddenly a cop knocked on the window. "Have you kids been drinking?" She questioned.
Oh no.
"OFFICERS THANK you it won't happen again I can promise you that much." Laurel said as all of us kids stand in the back, When mainly all of them, Conrad sitting on the bench and I was half asleep in Jeremiah's arms. "Tell Mr. Fisher, Chef wants to set up a tea time when he gets back in town." One of the officers said. "Absolutely, Sorry again for all the trouble." Laurel said opening the door. "Have a good night officers." "How could you guys be so irresponsible?" She asked us. "Mom it wasn't a big deal, alright seriously the cops are just looking to break up the bonfire." Steven said stepping up and I felt a headache coming on. "Not a big deal?" Laurel asked getting very annoyed. "Yes." He said sounding tired. "I would say getting picked up by the cops for underage drinking is a pretty big deal Steven." She said crossing her arms. "Wait where you guys smoking tonight?" Steven asked smelling the weed on her breath. "What, keep your voice down Susannah is asleep on the couch?" Said Laurel. "What- I wasn't yelling what you where yelling." He said when Jeremiah stepped in. "Just so you know Laurel, I didn't drink tonight, I was the DD i swear." He said just to be ignored. "You're the oldest, what the hell has gotten into you?" Laurel asked turning to Conrad. "And when did you leave the house without telling anybody, and what in the world are you wearing?" She asked now talking to belly. "It's Taylor's, and why am I the only one who's not aloud to go out?" She asked wrapping her arms around herself. "It's not that you're not aloud, it's that you should have told us you where going, and how did you two even get there?" Laurel asked."We walked." "You know better that to walk down the beach alone late at night." Laurel said worried about her."Can you stop testing me like a kid?" Belly asked getting annoyed. "If you want it be treated like an adult, you need to act like one." She fought back. "Then maybe you guys should too." Conrad said trying to end it. "What does that mean?" Laurel asked kinda offended. "I hope you realize this night could have ended a lot differently if your family wasn't your family Tristan your mom is counting on us keeping you safe your lucky I don't want her head exploring so I won't tell her this." "We're sorry laur." Jeremiah said. "Really sorry and thank you I'll text her good night" I said "just go to bed guys." She said then Jere put his hand on my back and we walked towards the stairs. I brushed my teeth and put my PJ's on, I walked past Jeremiah's room and thought about going to talk to him but I was too tired I walked into the bedroom and saw Belly will some frozen pees on her eye. "Hey how's your eye?" I asked her she sat up from her bed and looked at me "fine last time I try to break up a fight" she said I sat on my bed and looked over at her "you should of just made out with Cam Cameron instead he's very cute by the way" I said winking at her she blushed and laughed "says the girl who was attached at the hip of Jeremiah Fisher and I know it wasn't just me but were you two more touchy and flirty than the past summers" she said I sighted I need to tell her "ok um maybe because we almost kissed today" I said her eyes widened and she practically jumped onto me "WHAT?, WHEN? WHERE?" She asked I laughed "when we went to the beach in the water we were having a splashing fight and it almost happened and boom a big wave knocked us over it was the first time we were so close to kissing is it sign or just in the moment thing?" I asked "honey we haven't been here for 24 hours yet and you almost kiss your crush since you were 8 years old and than rest of the day he keeps you close to him kisses your cheek and hand and kept you at his side while he was talking to other people I'll say that's a sign" she said I smiled "hey you should sign up for the deb ball and ask him to be your escort oh you guys would look so cute slow dancing" she said my eyes widened "are you serious no way Belly I can't dance and I hate dresses and not to mention my manners are terrible" I say "come on you used too always dream about fancy dresses and slow dancing" she said "Bells I already have to face those kind of girls at school I don't need them to ruin my summer too besides I got a job with Jeremiah anyway so I'll see him everyday, are you doing it?" I asked "maybe" she answered than walked back over to her bed suddenly there a light knock on the wall behind my bed I smiled and giggled "why is it that our room is beside Jeremiah's yet whenever he knocks on it, it's only on your side it's definitely faith" she said I rolled my eyes and knocked on the wall back than grabbed my phone texted my mom goodnight than texted Jeremiah good night and send a heart emoji put my phone on the nightstand and got into the bed what a great first day in cousins this summer is going to be great I can feel it.

Here it is finally the final part of the first episode so sorry that's it late this week has been crazy and stressful. Can I just say that I'm shocked and super grateful for having 120 reads on the first 2 parts I never excepted to get that many reads on just 2 parts it has motivated me to write more and get more chapters up as soon as possible thank you all so much and hope you enjoy this final part of episode 1.
