After that day, you two never dared to meet each other's eyes again, only promising to yourselves that whenever you'd see the other person, you would look the other way. Each time you'd bump into him, you'd ignore everything single piece of him, not even wanting to know his reaction to your presence.
Sometime had already passed by since that day though and although you didn't want to admit it, at one point...the summer break would be over and you'd have to begin taking your classes again.
Groggily waking up to the alarm that is your sister, who kept throwing water at you to wake up, making you question if it was truly a good idea choosing to live with Nayeon...even though you knew very well that it was a blessing you didn't have to live with your parents.
Since a very young age, you and Nayeon always considered them to be dead, as they never were truly there for you two, always finding some sort of excuse to not be inside of the house or even speak a word to you...and if they somehow made their presence known, it would be barely noticeable, like a faint whisper telling you all of the reasons you two are ruining their marriage.
Sort of like a ghost.
That's why as soon as Nayeon moved out, you decided to pack your bags and move in with her not even a week after. Ever since then, you have never heard a vague mutter of theirs from over the phone.
"I hope you're happy without us...who am I kidding, of course you'll be happy." They were probably over and cross the moon as you spoke out the words.
"What did you say Y/N?"
"Nothing..." by that point you were fully awake, so you decided to go ahead and ready and once you were, you went downstairs to met with Nayeon's not-so-edible cooking.
"God Yeonie you really need to take some cooking classes..." she scrunched her nose as soon as she heard you say her nickname.
"I'll take some cooking classes once you stop calling me that!!"
"Well what else do you want me to call you?"
"Anything but that!"
"Hmm...what should I call you then..." you thought as you went towards the door, barely taking a bite out of the unappetizing meal she had cooked for you.
"Hmm...Na...Na...AHA! NABONG!" she let out a loud groan as soon as she heard such god awful nickname, violently shaking her head as she pinched her nose's bridge.
"How do you keep coming up with these nicknames?! That's even worse than Yeonie!!"
"What can I say? I'm basically an expert at giving nicknames!!" you said, as you stepped out of the door, not letting Nayeon complain even more about the new nickname.
TIME SKIP
As soon as your arrived to the school, you were immediately greeted by Beomgyu, who wrapped his arm around your shoulder, feeling excited to see you again.
"Y/N~~ How did you spend your summer? I heard that you quit the job at the gas station, did Yeonjun give you a hard time~~?" you shuddered as soon you heard him speak about that job, which only made him laugh harder.
"Tell that friend of yours that he makes a terrible boss...and what's up with him demanding everyone to call him Mr. Choi?!"
"Wait...you actually believed him when he told you to call him that?!" he was just laughing even harder at you, mocking you in a way for being a nice and respectful employee.
"Didn't you know his parents forced him to make everyone follow those stupid rules? God they've been so strict with him recently...all because of that stupid gas station they own." and as you were going to respond, some sudden screaming took the both of you by surprise, making you notice that it was coming right towards your way.
"YA IM Y/N!! YOU NEED TO COME SEE THIS!!" It was Rei, with a friend of hers who stood right next to her, seeming as excited as Rei was over whatever they had seen.
"What? Did Wooyoung and San get into another fight?! If so, my money is totally on Wooyoung...I heard he bites!!"
"It's even better than that!!" her friend commented, which made you a bit suspicious on how better it could be than those two idiots fighting, until you finally realized what was going and once you did, you let out a loud gasp.
"Are they dating?! Beomgyu you better pay the f*ck up, I told you they'd end up together!!"
"What?! No!!" Beomgyu a relieved sigh, while you just threw your arms around in frustration.
