We had plans to go do some random shopping with someone wasn't sure who, he originally said i could come so i was fine with that, plus he said i couldn't i'd probably hangout with Lily, she always could her parents were really nice and everything, her life wasn't perfect but she had a good life. Anyways yea he said i could originally come until he said he had an emergency so i just kinda let it go, maybe it was something really important like his family. Considering what happened yesterday. I decided to chill a bit before doing anything. After a little i texted lily she was a good friend of mine Andrew didn't like how she could easily cure my boredom after he left me alone randomly. I find it rather funny.

Lily couldn't go out since she had an appointment and then a dinner to go to for her older sister's engagement. I told her maybe some other day. She was very understanding and always made sure others were taken care of and not so lonely. It was nice how her personality was always so caring. i let her go do what she had to and decided to just do nothing, i was on my phone most of the day since i had nothing to do, my older brother wouldn't be back till tomorrow with his girlfriend from the trip they went on, he was what? 25 now i think he could afford pretty much what he wanted, he had a pretty good job and income and my parents always offered to help.

I decided to call my mom since she was almost done with work since today there wasn't much to do there for her either, so I asked her to hangout with me. We could go do something together like lunch or maybe get our nails done like normal mother daughter things. She said sure since she would be home in half an hour. The little town we live in was fun when you had people to do things with. It was a nice little town in australia. My mom and I moved to Australia when I was 3. I don't remember much of where we used to live. I just know it was always kind of rainy.

When my mom got home she drove us to where we were going since for some odd reason she wouldn't let me drive. I wasn't a bad driver, I just wasn't the greatest driver out there. My dad and my older brother were at a birthday party so it wouldn't be soon till they were home. They left a few minutes before mom got here. My mom and I arrived at the place since it wasn't too far. The place we went to was never busy plus they took walk-ins if it wasn't busy. Today they weren't so it only took us 10 minutes before they got to us. My mom got her nails painted pink with small flowers and then I got mine blue with some kind of white flower. When we got home I saw Andrew in the driveway he hadn't got out of the car yet.

I went inside and let him walk into the house by himself. It's Andrew he takes forever. Eventually he came in and had a big box in his hands . He struggled to open and close the door. I just laughed at him. That's where he was all day. I'm guessing going somewhere to buy all this stuff. But for what is my question. I would ask but it was funny to see him try to lock the door with one hand and almost keep on dropping the box. I eventually did ask.

"Hey Andrew, what's all this for?" I asked him, "What's in the box?"

"Just a few decorations I need your help deciding which ones would go great for me to use to ask Isabelle out for a surprise date. I finally found out her name" Andrew replied. "You're my best friend i knew you could help"

I thought to myself, isabelle? We only met her a few days ago, couldn't he see I liked him? I guess this is how it's going to be...

I guess to him I was always just a friend... maybe that's all I ever was and ever would be, my face started to turn a bit like I was sad or something, I didn't care I didn't find an excuse to say why it was that way. I still wanted to help him, he needed to be happy.

"Yea i can help you" my voice sounded bitter i didn't want it to though. "Your first date huh? You excited"

"Yes I am, I can't wait!" he exclaimed "i knew she was perfect since i saw her at the beach"
