The scimitar cut through thin air, missing his opponent by an inch. Aiming to strike again, lighting bolts bit through his chest into his veins, sending him on the other side of the ship.
He whimpered aloud, clutching his arms around his torso, as he felt the electricity dimming his vision. He dared to lift himself unto one arm. Watching the disaster unfold.
The ship was trembling on its stage. Barrels and sails were on fire, tilting the mainmast over the darkened sea.
His crew members were fast asleep, never noticing what troubled the captain at night. Fighting demons every day under the moonlight.
With a rough tug, his head was pulled back into his neck. Thine blade was held against his throat as he looked into her eyes and cried "sister, don't do this..."
