Chapter Nineteen: The Dream

When Y/N woke up, she was in her home she was home she wasn't in Saltbaker's home, she never moved anywhere to Far Off Isle, she dreamt what she had felt! She never did think about the bakery in Far Off isle, but not until she had that dream she wanted to feel it again.

When Y/N got up and went down the stairs, she had rode it down to the main floor or ground floor and Y/N asked her parents to move into Far Off Isle, they didn't agree but Y/N told them that she would be with someone and her parents agreed. Y/N's mother wasn't pregnant she had already had a baby, Y/N's little brother.

After Y/N's family packed their things and moved to Far Off Isle, Y/N's mother grabbed her arm and took her to the clothing shop where Y/N spend her money to buy clothing, while the two boys moved their things onto and into the house Y/N's family built before as a holiday house.

Though when Y/N's mother got hungry, she took her bought clothing and took Y/N to Saltbaker's Bakery and when the two girls left the shop, everyone crowded the two women but Y/N got scared and embarrassed and ran into the bakery, from there Y/N walked up to the counter but she looked at the display case.

When Saltbaker left the kitchen, he noticed an new customer come in and looking at the good pastries, cookies and doughnuts.

"Why hello there miss, and welcome to my finest bakery! Do you see anything good to order?" introducing himself Chef Saltbaker! The greatest chef in all the lands!

"Oh um, hi y-yes I do see something good but I wanted to see what you recommended." said Y/N, getting a little high pitch and holding back tears.

Saltbaker thought for a second and he had picked out a slice of a pie, a pie from the fancy pie holder Y/N usually admires, Saltbaker had put the pie down onto the counter he also put a fork on the same plate and Y/N's stomach growled and Saltbaker smiled a little bit and gave Y/N the pie and had let her eat in peace.

At the end of the day, when everyone else left the bakery for closing time, Y/N still didn't finish the pie and got distracted by everything else going on outside, though when Saltbaker came out of the kitchen and had set up his apron on the wall he saw Y/N enjoying a slice of pie, it made him smile but he did flip the sign from the front door "open to closed" and he did sit in front of Y/N curious to find out what makes her distracted.

When Y/N noticed Saltbaker sitting across from her, she really had emotions for him and wanted to be with him but she didn't know if he had someone, so she just waited out to hear what he had to say.

"Enjoying the pie?" asked Saltbaker.

"Mhm!" agreed Y/N, taking bites every now and then.

"Good, also what's your name? You don't gotta answer that." said Saltbaker, regretting to have asked Y/N's name.

*Y/N gulps down the pie bites* "It's Y/N and you?" replied Y/N, almost finished with the pie.

"Saltbaker, Chef Saltbaker." said Saltbaker, putting his hands under the plate.

"Hey, I'm not done with my pie yet." whinned Y/N, taking the plate.

"Oh really?" asked Saltbaker, moving the plate over to him.

"Yes, really." replied Y/N, taking the plate.

"I don't see your name on the pie, nor the plate." said Saltbaker, taking Y/N's fork and eating a bit of her pie.

"I- stop teasing me." caught Y/N, watching as Saltbaker took a piece of the pie slice.

"How about no?" said Saltbaker, taking another piece of the pie.

Y/N realised what Saltbaker was doing and she blushed right in front of him, though she got up and tried to run, Saltbaker caught her and held her in a dance pose, and the two realised what they got themselves into. But they did blush at each other when they first met their eyes together, and they just let it flow.

Though when Y/N and Saltbaker got done dancing around the tables, Saltbaker put Y/N in a romantic dip pose, which Y/N always slipped out of someone's hand and fell onto the floor, but not this time. Saltbaker held Y/N close to his chest and he looked at Y/N which she looked at him, then they went back to standing, when Y/N stood back up she wobbled and knocked into Saltbaker, which he caught Y/N in his arms and held her. Y/N stood there blushing and smiling.
