Chapter 2

Family outing

Taking care of a human wasn't so bad as they thought it would be. The only thing that was hard was staying up during the day to take care of her and wake up to chul's crying in the middle of the night and day.

"Phew, I got her to sleep finally" Ryan said flopped down on the couch. "That's what happens when you are a parent. You deal with crying babies" Dimitri said. He took a sip of his 'wine' and placed it down on the table next to the couch. "Yeah. But it's better then raising a vampire child." Ryan added. Ugh, raising vampire children is painful. Constantly trying to find blood for them, them going in bat form a lot, demonic child that climbs up on the ceilings, etc. "We we're both vampire children once Ryan" Dimitri chuckled. Ryan rolled his eyes and cuddled his husband. "What would you like to do today love?" He asked. "Maybe relax, watch a movie or spend time with our baby." Dimitri said. I mean it has been a couple of days since they found chul, and maybe it would be nice to do something as a family. "Hmm. Let's rest for a bit, then we can spend time with our little angel" Ryan said. "Good idea" Dimitri said and laid down and snuggled him.

"Wake up my little princess" Ryan said. Chul had woken up from her 2 hour nap and saw her father peeking into her crib. She lifted up her tiny hands, asking to be picked up. Ryan chuckled and lifted her up out of her crib. "Hello~" he sang, he spun her around in the air causing her to giggle. "Now, let's go see daddy. I'm sure he would love to see his little bat," Ryan walked out of the room and went into the living room. "Here is the princess" Ryan said. Chul looked at Dimitri's direction and started to try and get of Ryan's grip. "Heh, looks like she is excited to see her king" Dimitri joked. She took chul out of his arms and placed her in his own. "How was your nap chul?" He asked. "Bah!" Was all she said. The two chuckled, "it will be awhile for her to start talking" Ryan added. "Now, what shall we do today?" Dimitri thought for a moment. "How about the park? Or the mall- maybe-" Dimitri was cut off. "Oh I got it! The aquarium." He said, with pride. "The aquarium?" Dimitri asked. "Mhm, human kids love seeing sea creatures swimming in a circle for hours on end" Ryan said. Dimitri looked at his husband and sighed. "But it's day out and we are gonna burn in the sun" he said. "Then we wear hats and cover up. Or bring the parasols" Ryan said. "And this is for our daughter, remember? Look at her. She wants to have someone family day outing! Right chul?" He tickled her little feet, cause her to giggle and smile more. "See. She want's have some family time," Dimitri handed chul back to him and started going upstairs. "I'll go get ready" Dimitri said. "Hm I thought so, oh my darling you gonna have a fun day out" Ryan said, giving his attention towards his daughter.

Stares. Everyone was staring at the family. Oh boy did Ryan and Dimitri look ridiculous. I mean how would you feel if you say suspicious looking men in the aquarium wearing layers of black clothing and sunglasses holding a small infant in one of there arms? Not me of course. The two just ignored everyone and starts looking at the map. "Okay so we are at the main entrance. All we have to do is go to every single place in this place, take a picture of chul's reaction and us for memories and then we go" Dimitri said. "Mhm. Oh but if we take these pictures for memories we will not show up in the photos" Ryan said. Again, Dimitri wanted to mentally slap himself. "We take pictures of chul in front of the fish tanks then" Dimitri said. "Agreed" Ryan said.

And so they did. All day they spent the rest of the day taking pictures and looking the sea life.

"That was a long day." Ryan said, stretching and taking off his coat. "Mhm" Dimitri mumbled. "Dada!" Both of them spotted.

Ryan: "Did she..."

Dimitri: "Her first.."

R&D: "WORD?!"

Baby chul giggled at her two dads. "Dada!...Pa..pa!" She again said. "My baby called me 'dada'!" He cried, tears of joy. "Best day ever,"
