''How did you even survive?''
''I was a gladiator back then, I was used to pain and my armor I heavy duty. I withstands a lot, it must.'' Megatron answered his question.
''Cool.'' Miko said.
''Were you good?''
''Miko!'' Breakdown shouted.
''You don't know what gladiators went through on Cybertron.''
''It is fine.'' Megatron said.
''She couldn't know. To answer your question, I was the best gladiator all over Cybertron. No one has ever defeated me in a gladiator match.''
''So it is true then.'' Knockout said.
''All your titles.'' He added when he saw Megatron didn't fully understand him.
''What titles?'' Jack asked.
''All the titles I earned.'' Megatron explained.
''And yes, my full name with all my titles is. Megatron of Tarn, undefeated gladiator champion in the pits of Kaon, owner of the tournament of champions greatest arena all over Cybertron.''
''Wow.'' Starscream said.
''I always heard your titles, but you yourself saying it is far more impressive.''
What is the tournament of champions?'' Raf asked.
''The tournament of champions.'' Megatron told him.
''is the greatest gladiator arena of Cybertron, where only champion of the other arena's may battle in.''
''So you had quite the status on Cybertron.'' Jack stated.
''Then why the call for change?''
''Because others were not as fortunate as me.'' He answered.
''What really pulled me over the line was when I had to battle a femme who was carrying, I tried to spare her to save her. But the guards killed her right in front of my face.'' His voice cracking with regret and sadness.
''The worst thing is I promised her I would keep her safe, her and her sparkling. The guard made me break my promise, I had to watch her die in front of me. While I could do nothing, do you know how that feels?'' he finished, then they all saw the true Megatron the kind but strong warrior. The one that had emotions, not the cold and strong commander they got to know on the battlefield. And if you asked them which one they liked more they would all answer the gladiator.
''So what now?'' Breakdown asked Alpha Trion.
''I give leadership of you to Megatron.'' The old mech said. It had mixed reactions, but that of Megatron was the most surprising the Decepticons found it fine. But Megatron immediately said.
''Why me? Surely someone else is more suitable than me.''
''No Megatron.'' Alpha Trion explained.
''You know the Autobots better than any of us and you are the only one strong enough and with enough experience to lead them into battle.''
''And precisely how do you know that?'' agent Fowler who wasn't fond of the idea asked.
''Because I am the only one with enough experience in fighting to face Optimus. And I have experience in leading since I led the gladiators back on Cybertron.'' Megatron finally began to realize and accept.
''And aside from that you can be very influential.'' His old mentor said.
''After all you convinced Orion of your vision and many others as well, even in the highest classes. Look at Soundwave and Shockwave, both senators and both touched by your words.''
''But at what price?'' Megatron asked.
''What you mean?'' Raf asked.
''Shockwave had his emotions taken from him, and Soundwave lost his face. Both because I convinced them of my vision.'' Megatron answered.
''That's terrible.'' Miko said.
''Soundwave.'' Jack said.
''My mother is coming can you bridge her. And it is terrible what happened to you and Shockwave.'' Soundwave just shrugged and opened a portal.
''Hi.'' His mother June Darby said.
''What is he doing here?'' She asked pointing to Megatron.
''He is our new leader.'' Alpha Trion said.
''But he is the Autobot commander.''
''He switched sides.'' Ariachnid said defending Megatron.
''But.'' Starscream said.
''I will only let him command m, if we get to watch one of his matches back on Cybertron.'' When everyone looked confused at him he explained.
''I was always a big fan.''
''Very well then. ''Megatron said.
''But I will let's watch one of those matches I'm sure Soundwave still has them.''
