Rita was terrified, scared out of her mind fearing of what would happen to her, as she stares at Rachnera who was salivating at her wanting to eat her, since all the spider did eat down here in the chamber are rats. Sometimes she would try going outside to get other decent meals but she always wanted to eat human flesh.
"Mr. Potter please... let's talk like adults here please? Send your spider away and let's talk in a civil manner?" Rita pleads with Harry, Ginny, Hermione and Gabrielle glaring at her.
"I think not. And I'd rather not deny Rachnera here a decent meal here." Harry replied with a glare.
"Please! Let me go! I'll give you anything you want! I'll give you money! Name your price and I'll give it to you!" She cried hoping this would persuade him.
"I don't want your money or nothing from you." Harry says keeping a scowl at Rita.
"If memory serves me right. Aren't you supposed to register to be a Animagus?" Hermione remarked
"And from the looks of it. You took advantage of your Animagus form as a beetle to gain secrets from many wizards, witches and muggles and of course slander them to become a self proclaimed "fabulous reporter" am I right?" Says Ginny with Rita sweating and shaking knowing she's been caught.
"Judging from her reaction it's true." Harry says
"Tell me Rita. Was it worth it? Was it worth slandering many people's lives just so that you could be a famous reporter?" Harry Questioned.
"Ye-Yes..." Rita Whispered.
"Speak up. I believe we didn't hear you." Harry said sternly
"Yes! Yes!" Rita answered
"I'm guessing you was also going to slander Gabrielle when Roger and his cronies attempted to rape her?" Harry sneered with Rita looking away.
"Yes..." Rita would say quietly.
"LOUDER!" Yelled Harry.
"YES! Please! You don't understand all I wanted was fame and attention! I wanted to rise to be a famous reporter here!" Rita admitted with the others looking angry.
"You're a hypocrite. Was it not you that said to me about how would my parents feel about me participating in this bloody tournament. Should they be "Proud? Or concerned?" To see how would they take my attitude of seeking attention and glory? When it clearly wasn't my intention in wanting ANY attention whatsoever!" Hissed Harry with Rita looking away and nodding as Hermione and Ginny along with Gabrielle scowling at her.
"And right now your doing the exact opposite. I bet you slandered many others lives just to get to your sick twisted fame. Makes me wonder if you were really assigned to be a reporter for this tournament." Harry would say with Rita having a lump in her throat and remained in silence.
"Rachnera." Harry would say as the Spider crawled up to Rita who looked frantic and yelled.
"OK! OK! I CONFESS! I WASN'T ASSIGNED TO INTERVIEW AND WATCH THE TRI-WIZARD TOURNAMENT! I REALLY WASN'T ALL I WANTED WAS TO BE POPULAR IN DOING THE DEED!" Rita confessed telling the truth
"Well now. Isn't this something girls? She snuck her way into this tournament to probably slander more lives. Not to mention has been slandering me this whole term when I was forced into the tournament." Harry says with the three behind him glaring at Rita.
"What are we going to do with her?" Ginny would say.
"Yeah what are we going to do with her Harry?" Hermione says with a scowl
"I would feed her to Rachnera." Harry says with the spider still salivating
"Please! Please wait! I won't slander you anymore! I won't slander anyone else! Please let me go!" Rita pleaded.
"Oh and what makes you think we should trust you if we are letting you go? How do we know you won't tell anyone about this?" Hermione says
"I won't tell a soul! Honest!" Rita would say.
Harry stood there thinking on what he should do to her. Should he really give her to Rachnera or plan something else.
"What do you guys think should be done about her?" Thought Harry towards his tenants
"I say feed the bitch to Rachnera. She's had this coming for a long time." Says Toxine with disdain for Rita.
"I would say snap her wand or make her do a magical oath. But I'm going to have to agree with Toxine. What if she knows about your secret? She'll no doubt try to mouth this to anyone." Says Blaze.
As Harry keep thinking on what should be done with Rita. Even if they let her go she could tell fudge and his lot about him and that she could possibly know of his secret. Which is a risk he can't take. He looks at her pleading look.
"Arry?" Spoke Gabrielle seeing him going silent.
"You might as well do what needs to be done Harry. After all this bitch has been slandering you and your mates this entire term. All she cares about is herself and cares about her ride to fame. What if she knows of your secret? And if we let her go she'll blurt out to what trouble she's in with us. In my eyes she's not innocent, all I can see in her is greed. And she can't be redeemed for her actions. She's no doubt ruined other witches and wizards lives by getting to where she is." Toxine would say.
Harry of course frowned lightly considering what Toxine had said. She has a point About Rita. Closing his eyes and taking a deep breath.
"Girls. Let's go." He says making them turn to him.
"What about her?" Ginny would say.
Hermione on the other hand widened her eyes in horror of what Harry has decided for Rita.
"Let's go." Hermione says as she gently pushed the girls away heading for the exit.
"Wait! What's going on!? Why are they leaving!?" Rita demanded as she saw it was only just her, Harry and Rachnera.
Harry held Rita's wand.
"What are you doing?" She asks then widened her eyes in horror in what he was about to do.
"STOP NO!" But was too late when Harry had snapped her wand and tossed it aside.
"WHAT GIVES!? WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME!? DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA ON WHAT YOU JUST DONE!?" Screamed Rita knowing what happens once her wand is broken.
"I don't care. What I've done. You've ruined other peoples lives because of your sick ride for fame and glory. For Lying, stealing , cheating and slandering many others lives. Goodbye Rita." Harry would say walking away heading for the exit.
She widened her eyes when she saw Rachnera crawl forward towards her.
"PLEASE DON'T! MR. POTTER! PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME! I'M SORRY!" She screamed with tears flowing.
"Sorry doesn't cut it when you slander and ruin others lives just so you could be popular." Harry replied back not even turning to her
Rachnera got closer to Rita barring her fangs and mouth hissing.
"NO! NOOOOOOOO!" Screamed Rita as Rachnera covered Rita in webs and then dragged her into her hollowed pipe as Rita's blood curdling screams had echoed throughout the chamber of secrets. Blood had leaked from the pipe along with Rita's glasses that were covered in blood.
The chamber of secrets had closed once Rita's screams were silenced.
"Let's go guys." Harry would say as they left the chamber of secrets since they knew now that Rachnera is eating Rita.
