Chapter 45: Ron's fall part 1

Dumbledore's office)

This is it. Ron knew now that he was in deep shit. As he stares into the angry faces of Hermione Granger. His sister Ginny Weasley. Auror Tonks. His head of the house Professor McGonagall. And last but not least the headmaster of Hogwarts. Albus Dumbledore who looked at him with a stern yet disapproving angry look. That it almost made Ron nearly soil his pants being surrounded by angry people. He's lucky his parents aren't here... his mother especially... knowing she will put him six feet under in a grave.

If not Deeper than that.

"Do you know why you are here Mr. Weasley?" Dumbledore asked Calmly with Ron sweating.

"N-No Professor Dumbledore..." Ron answered

"I have been told that you know about Harry's secret. May I ask how did you know such information? Because I know Miss Granger nor Miss Weasley would never exploit Harry's secret to anyone. And I know your twin brothers wouldn't either." Dumbledore asked the young Weasley male. He knew for a fact that only: Hermione, Ginny, Luna, Neville, the Weasley twins and anyone else who knew about Harry's secret wouldn't tell a soul to anyone they did not trust.

Ron was silent.. as he looked at the looks everyone was giving him.

Hermione and Ginny's facial expressions held Disgust, and Anger. Because they both knew Ron would go this far just to get back at Harry for his screw ups. And because of his jealousy.

Tonks just glared at Ron heavily. With clear disgust on her face.

McGonagall's Expression was cold, stern and very disapproving and her Cold stern stare was sharper than the sword of Godric Gryffindor.

His gaze went back to Headmaster Dumbledore. The perch which where Fawkes was on was even looking at Ron in disapproval.

"Well Mr. Weasley? I am waiting to hear how do you know?" Dumbledore asked with light sternness in his voice.

"I...I... I overheard you talking about it with Mum and Dad... Professor..." Ron answered which made everyone widen their eyes.

"So that explains it..." Dumbledore thought... he had assumed Ron had gone upstairs to his bedroom like his parents told him too guess he will have to take Full Responsibility for this Slip Up..

"And from what Miss Granger and Miss Weasley here tells me that you were going to TELL everyone in this school about Harry's secret?" Dumbledore asked with a disapproving frown

"Y-Yes..." Ron Admitted.

"You are scum." Tonks hissed in disgust at Ron

"And why would you do such a thing Mister Weasley?" Dumbledore asked again making the boy stare at him uneasily.

"Well Ronald Tell Professor Dumbledore why. " Hermione spoke glaring at her former friend as Ron whipped his head towards her direction then back at Dumbledore who was waiting.

"Be-Because he's a monster! Surely you understand that Harry is a Monster because of his basilisk traits! It will be like the chamber of secrets incident ALL over again! He even SCARRED my face! All because I insulted his VEELA! and you all are protecting him!? Knowing the danger he will become in this school!" Ron answered with a scowl on his face venting his frustration.

"And your willing to expose Harry's secret to ruin his life here too? Are you THAT jealous that you are going to go that far?!" Tonks hissed

"He did say he would do it in a heartbeat too." Hermione says with her glare directed at Ron as Ginny besides her nodded.

"I am very disappointed in you Mr. Weasley. I truly am. To think you was once Mr. Potter's best friend that you would tarnish his image and such like that all because he is in a dangerous tournament that you couldn't take part in. Mr. Potter was thrown in that tournament against his will and has no choice but to comply in it." Professor McGonagall's stern voice was heard with her eyes narrowed at her student.

"I am ashamed to call you a lion." McGonagall adds with disapproval with Ron snapping his head to her in shock.

"Bu-But I'm MORE lion than that Cheat is! At least I don't hang around with a snake! He's more Snake actually considering he is ONE!" Ron argued

"Albus what do you plan to do with Mr. Weasley?" McGonagall asks looking towards him.

"Yes. What will I do with you Mr. Weasley? I cannot allow you to blurt out Mr. Potter's secret to the whole school where everyone will shun him and hate him for what he is." Dumbledore says out loud looking directly at Ron who still looks a bit heated.

"It's clear detention won't set you straight.. but I believe I have something in mind where you can't expose Mr. Potter. But first I will be calling your parents." Dumbledore says as all the color drained from Ron's face.

Now he's REALLY in trouble if his parents get involved. His mother especially.

"What do you have in mind?" McGonagall asked as Dumbledore gestured her to come here so he can whisper it to her ear.

There was silence for a moment McGonagall looked shocked at what Dumbledore was suggesting.

"What?! you want to do that!" She hissed in a low whisper

"It's the only way to protect Harry's secret Minerva... besides I will have to get Mr. Weasley's parents to allow this. And will bring in young Harry as well." Dumbledore says in a whisper

"Then I will go retrieve the Weasley's.."McGonagall would say knowing that this is for the best as she would get some floo powder and go right into a fireplace to retrieve both Ron's parents

"As for young Mr. Potter. I will send Fawkes to bring him here." Dumbledore says

"Wait Harry is coming here?" Hermione asks

"Yes." Dumbledore replies

"What for if I may ask?" Ginny asked

"To decide Mr. Weasley's fate." Dumbledore says with Ron looking a bit fearful of will happen to him.. is he going to get expelled over this?!

"Please... please this can't be happening...!?" Ron thought with terror scared of whatever fate or judgment that will fall upon him.

(Sometime later)

Fawkes has returned with both Harry and Fleur as both of them looked bewildered by this. As they noticed they are in the headmaster's office.

"What's going on?" Fleur asked

"I have no idea but.. wait is that.." Harry says until his eyes fell on both Mr. And Mrs Weasley in the room. Along with His head of the house, Hermione, Ginny, Auror Tonks... Professor Dumbledore.. and the last person he did not expect to see.

His former Best Friend. Ron Weasley.

"Professor what is going on?" Harry asked.

"Ah Harry. Sorry to disturb you and Miss Delacour but we have summoned you here to decide Mr. Weasley's fate." Dumbledore says towards the young boy as Harry looked confused as he faced his former best friend who only sent him a glare.
