This book is based on the love story of some people I know, so I am going to try to keep Perfect Storm as close to the truth as possible, which means there might be scenes that make you guys mad. Warnings
1) There are sensitive subjects like (drug and alcohol) addiction, domestic abuse, and rape. I will also be putting warnings on chapters that have these sensitive subjects. (And our characters are of the Catholic religion, but this isn't a religious book at all.)
2) Amara has a 6 year old daughter named Ophelia. Yeah, I know "ew, kids." but this is one of the things that needs to stay true. Also, the real life Amara isn't actually a business woman and real life Matteo isn't actually Italian. These are some of the things I decided to change.
3) This story is mature because of the foul language and some themes. There's probably not gonna be any detailed smut because I just feel awkward writing it, but I might try to get a friend to write it but if not there won't be any detailed smut. So, I'm sorry if I'm "robbing" you guys.
4) There will be scenes that will make you guys angry and maybe cringed out but for the sake of the plot they have to happen.
5) Amara and Matteo do have a small age gap (it's not that bad, it's not like she's 16 and he's 48 or whatever, I promise it's not that bad lmao) Amara and Ophelia's "father" do have a huge age gap, but I will try to mention him only when needed.
