It was an early Friday morning, you had thankfully finished packing late last night. You woke up and made yourself a quick cereal before setting your bags and luggage by the door. You had a tendency of overpacking but in your mind you had to make sure you had options. You were checking how your hair was in the mirror, you had decided to go natural for this trip, making sure you looked good.
Eren had rented a sprinter so the whole group could go all at once to the lake house. So, you were currently waiting to be picked up. You heard the messages notification go off, you looked down to see a text from Eren. You get excited, you haven't been on a trip in a long time and this one was overdue, and this would be your first one with Connie.
You grab your stuff and head down. Seeing Franklin, you stop and talk to him letting him know you weren't going to see him until Sunday. You and Franklin had a good relationship, he reminded you of a grandpa. He had a very reassuring vibe to him.
"Hey, Franklin. I'm going on a trip with some friends this weekend" you say, smiling softly at him.
"Now you stay safe, is your boyfriend gonna be there" he says as he leads you to the front opening the door for you.
"Well, yes, you can say that" You and Connie still haven't told any of your friends. And while you still wanted to wait, you wondered how the two of you would act on this weekend getaway.
You also wanted Connie to ask you to be his girlfriend. While there is an understanding that the both of you are together, that night after the club he asked you to be his girl. You just wanted that official title. Maybe this could be the could be your chance to express that to him.
" Have fun, Miss" Franklin snaps you out of whatever gaze you were in as you see a black sprinter parked in front of your building. " Thank you Franklin. I'll see you on Sunday !"
