Chapter 12

1 month later

After Heather visited our home, Ran started to act different. He was kind, loving and even canceled his business plans just to take care of me and Ryota. I don't know why he started acting like this but nonetheless I was happy that he changed.

"Ouch! Shit.." I cussed as quiet as possible because I accidentally touched the pot while cooking.

I looked at my finger and started blowing it to ease the pain a little.

Ran took his gaze off Ryota and saw me blowing my finger. With a worried expression, he rushed to me.

"Honey are you okay? Does it hurt badly?" Ran asked with a caring tone.

"Yeah, I'm fine Ran, I just accidentally touched the pot" I explained with a smile with a slight blush as he was really close.

I mean he is my husband but I'm still not used to him treating me like this.

Ran noticed my almost cherry like cheeks and giggled.

I heard his giggle which made my cheeks even redder.

(How can someone so perfect be mine?)

He raises his hand and pats me on the head and said "Your so adorable love."

Ran Haitani's POV:

Fuck... How the hell can she be this adorable? What kind of witchcraft did her parents do to make such a beauty?...

As I look at her, I wonder...

Do I really need another woman?

Aren't I just cheating on myself?

I have the perfect girl in my house, as my wife yet...

It doesn't feel right because of this dare...

Should I tell her about it?

Will she leave me if I did?

Fuck...

What the hell am I supposed to do?

As I think about this, I notice that she's getting closer and slowly closing her eyes. I realize that she's going to kiss me so, I do the same as her.

And then...

As our lips are about to touch...

*Ring!!* *Ring*

(Switch back to Y/n's Pov)

Me and Ran heard the phone ring.

"Ugh...Fuck, why now?" I heard him say under his breath with an annoyed tone.

"Sorry sweety, I'll go answer it" He said.

"Mhm, go ahead love." I said with a smile which made him blush a little.

I went back to cooking our meal as soon as he went to answer the phone.

10 minutes later

Ryota giggled as I set up the table and prepared our food.

After I was done, Ran came back and hugged me from behind.

I heard him sigh and I asked.

"What was it about love?"

"Don't worry Hun, it's just my boss informing me about the business meetings that I need to attend next week. Though unfortunately, we'll have to move to South Korea if you wanna come with us." Ran explained.

"Are you kidding me? Of course we'd go with you. Me and Ryota love you." I said.

Ran laughed while burying his face on my neck.

Ryota started crying because he was hungry so me and Ran quickly sat down and started to eat and feed Ryota at the same time.

"Say ahhh"

"Here comes the choo choo train!"

"Ryo you gotta eat those greens!"

"One last bite Ryo!"

"See? It's over Ryo."

I smiled as I ate and watched Ran feed our baby.

And I have a feeling that this'll be a happy ending...
