Chapter 1

What the fuck am I doing?

I ask myself as I stand in front of the mirror trying to get my thoughts together. My hands are gripping the edge of the counter so tightly it is making my knuckles turn white. I have absolutely no business being here yet here I am hiding in a bathroom at a party that is crawling with Bonten gang members. It's not like I have anything against gang members, how could I when my boyfriend is one of them.

My man isn't like any of these low level soldiers I see roaming around here but he is one of the top men in Bonten. Which is one of the reasons why I am in a fucked situation right now. He would be so pissed if he knew I was here. Fuck, I am pissed that I am here.

Bang! Bang!

The sound makes me jump and I stare at the door afraid, unsure of what to do until I hear a familiar voice.

"[Y/N], open the door," the person on the other side demands in a forceful voice.

"Fuck.." I grumble to myself as I aggressively try to fix my hair in the mirror as if it will magically fix this situation I found myself in. Shit, maybe I should just be silent and pretend I am not in here.

"If you don't open this door I am going to rip it off the fucking hinges," he says harshly as I stare at the door paralyzed.

Okay.. I don't think that is going to work. But I might be able to finesse my way out of this if I play my cards correctly. I take a deep breath as I take one last look at myself in the mirror again as I turn and walk towards the door bracing myself for what lies on the other side. I place my hand on the door knob unlocking it but before I can even turn the knob it is thrown open and I am pushed backward as my intruder slams the door behind him locking it giving me no way out.

"What the fuck Rin?!," I say angrily as I rub my wrist annoyed.

"Are you fucking kidding me?," Rin spits out as he places his hands in his pockets leaning against the door, "Ran is going to be so pissed."

Determined to find a way out of this I plaster a giant smile on face, "Only if he finds out?...,"I say letting my words trail off as I raise my eyebrows at him hoping he helps me out here.

He lets out a laugh full of disbelief, "You can't be fucking serious, are you asking me to lie to Ran?"

"Lie?" I ask feigning innocence, "Lie is a strong word, how about just omitting the truth?"

"What the hell are you doing here [Y/N]?," he asks ignoring my question completely.

"Uhh..." I look down trying to pick my words carefully because the reason I am here is a pretty dumb one, "Actually it's a funny story I-"

Rin interrupts me, "You better give me a story that slightly makes any fucking sense or else I won't even consider lying for you."

My breath catches in my throat and my eyes widen in shock as I stare at an angry Rin in front of me. I have never seen him this mad before, well I have but it has never been directed at me.

The embarrassing truth begins to tumble out of my mouth, "Well I came with two friends from school, well I wouldn't really say friends. I just met them recently in one of my classes and they talked me into going out with them to a party. I thought it would be fun to make some new friends but I didn't realize what kind of party it was. They started talking to some sleezy guys here that wanted to take us to some room but I felt uncomfortable and once I realized what was going on I-"

"You left and came to hide in the bathroom," Rin cuts me off shaking his head, "You need some new fucking friends."

I scoff, "That is hilarious considering who I am fucking," I say with a big shit-eating grin on my face.
