Chase's POV

Just a bit more... power...

I keep charging as strong as I possibly can. This is draining all the energy out of me... I need something to keep me going...

My enhanced bionic hearing picks up a faint cough in the distance. I look over to Mr. Davenport and see movement from Bree... she's alive! Thank goodness! I'm almost considering using a swear word to further my relief and happiness at the fact Bree isn't dead. That's the boost I needed! Seeing her alive gives me the vital boost I need to keep charging this up as much as I can to annihilate this heartless droid. If he does have one, by the time I'm done with it, it will be a fried heart. He will not stop me. Marcus will not stop me. Douglas will not stop me. The only thing that could stop me is Bree. I would do anything for her... I would die for her. If my death would guarantee her life, I would give it. I look over to her and see Mr. Davenport nodding gently at me, notifying me that she is alive. She may not be well, but she's alive.

Marcus and I make eye contact. I believe he knows how infuriated I am with his antics in trying to hurt Bree. She may be broken and bruised physically, but mentally, she is stronger than anyone I have ever encountered. She's got an aura magical enough to keep my tiring arse fighting. The lightning bolt I'm conjuring above Marcus is finally ready to shatter him entirely.

And finally, I strike! I bring the lightning bolt with devastating speed. He meets the lightning bolt with his hands as he attempts to absorb the energy to avoid having his interface shattered. It is clear to see he is struggling. This is brilliant! I only found out about this ability during the bike trip when the Davenport Interface informed me how to use it. I basked in the amazingness of the ability. I can channel such incredible power into a simple lightning bolt I can strike at Marcus. Quite glorious, isn't it? The sheer force of the manner I brought down the bolt with the energy generated has left Marcus getting pushed closer and closer to the floor. Quickly, Adam looks over and witnesses the conflict between myself and Marcus. He winks over at me as if he was planning this all along and adds his heat vision to the power of the energy bolt. I still need to either create a name for this ability, or find out what Davenport had for it.

"Chase! Be careful! This ability does take out your self energy as well and should only be used as a last resort!" Davenport screams over at me. I think he knows exactly what this power is, and what it's called. And it's properties. I am interested to find out what he has to say after this. I nod over at Mr. Davenport before I add even more power to this. He screams over my name again but he does know my bionics are maxed out right? I may be a bit tired after this but I don't mind if it means Bree is safe. And Adam. His heat vision is slowly but surely assisting the process of defeating Marcus.

And finally, after a concerted time period of around four minutes, we finally break Marcus' resistance, and the bolt penetrates his chest, and destroys his android infrastructure, as he collapses slowly to the ground. Marcus down, Douglas to go.

Donald's POV

WOW! I never thought he would unlock that ability, let alone use it in battle the second he learns it and not only that, he annihilates a powerful bionic droid like Marcus? Absolutely phenomenal. It's a good thing my genius created this ability, and it's an even better thing that he channeled it so quickly. Perhaps I underestimated his ability to keep his bionics under control. Now, where is Douglas? Oh god! I forgot to remove Bree's gag! I quickly

"Come out Douglas. We've just shattered your droid," Chase confidentially says. That's my boy! Not Dougie's! My boy!

Adam hastily backs him up. "We will destroy you for what you've done to Bree. Stop hiding. Come out." Now these are the boys I raised! To never shy away from protecting those that matter to them. Bree finally opens her eyes and lets out another cough. I fear she's broken something. I will quickly scan her.
