Chapter 12

Lillie was outside with Snowy one morning heading to school via walking instead of her ride, she was relieved that she no longer had the curse, but even with Aura to talk, it was heartbreaking to lose her voice. Snowy was sad she wasn't able to help, but glad Lillie was alright.

"Hey Lillie!" Ash greeted Lillie on a morning job, "I see you're out for a walk this morning, happy to finally be able to be free in the morning?"

'Yes, very much Ash!' Lillie exclaimed via Aura, 'I'm happy the curse is finally gone, but man, my voice being lost is a bummer, but I'm getting used to it...' Ash gave her a hug along with Pikachu and Snowy.

"So, um, Alice is not dating Rex now from what Ethan said..." Ash sighed, "I'm happy she found love, just concerned about Rex." Lillie told him through Aura he needs to have a bit of patience with Rex. Ash nodded as they headed to school, where only Kukui was there, and seemed concerned.

"What's wrong Kukui?" Ash asked as Kukui sighed.

"Something happened recently, and the Aether Foundation is being forced to shut down because of a false accusation..." Kukui sighed as Lillie and Ash were shocked.

"No, it can't be!" Ash gasped, as Kukui showed this trial case that was deemed that the Aether Foundation was scheming Ultra Beasts attacks, and Lusamine was being arrested, while Mohn was put on parole, but lost custody of Lillie and Gladion for child endangerment. Lillie got down crying as Ash seemed mad.

"It must've been that stupid curse trying to get revenge for Lillie erasing her cursed self!" Ash exclaimed, "The curse must've been upset with Lillie, and wants to drive her family apart!" Lillie and the two Pokemon gasped as they realized Ash might be onto something, but Kukui stopped them before they tried anything. "You two can get in major trouble if you try to fight this case, me and Burnet, Professor Oak, Principal Oak, and Wicke are trying to find evidence to help, although, I would suggest bringing Lillie somewhere else so they don't force her into an orphanage." Kukui explained, Lillie and Snowy looked worried as they heard a familiar voice.

"Perhaps I can chime in?" Hobbes walked over, "I'm unable to fully adopt her, but my suggestion is that maybe we should take her to Ash's home in Kanto so they can't force her to an orphanage, I mean, sure, I am sadly unable to help you with that, but I can try to find Gladion to tell him what happened and support Kukui in his search.

'That's so crazy it actually might work!' Lillie stated through Aura, Kukui smiled and was about to buy online tickets for Ash and Lillie to go to Kanto when Ethan, Rex, and Alice appeared.

"No need Professor," Ethan stated, ", we had a feeling that would happen." Alice giggled as Rex showed these five plane tickets. "We all decided to ask you to come with us, and Rex bought the tickets before we could ask because his gut felt like you'd like to come with us because of the issue. Before we could help pay, he bought all five tickets himself." Ash and Lillie, plus their Pokemon, were astonished by this, that he willingly spent a fortune to help, Ash chuckled, realizing that his sister is in the good hands of this kind man. Lillie and Ash hugged him as Larvitar and Eevee smiled with the Pokemon.
