Chapter 2 by Goomba/Me!

Lillie woke up in her bed the next morning, and started her day by looking at a picture frame of her, Ash, Ash's Pikachu, and her precious partner Snowy the Alolan Vulpix, she sighed and thought, 'Man, we all looked so happy before the stupid curse got ahold of me...' Suddenly, she felt a bit of weight jump on top of her lap, and when she looked, it was her very own partner Snowy, looking at her. "Vul..." Snowy whined as Lillie smiled and sighed while petting her. "Morning Snowy, how'd you sleep?" Lillie asked in a bit of a cheerful tone, the curse, while hurtful to humans she cared about, the one thing it didn't work for was Pokemon, the curse couldn't force Lillie or her family to harm Pokemon.

Speaking of this curse, it was one that her family held on her father's side. What it does is control the actions of someone to be toxic and manipulative when they hit 13 years old.  While this effect doesn't last very long, it makes her thoughts go pretty cloudy every once in a while, and that's Lillie's most hated part of this curse, because whenever she heads to school in the day, usually that's when the curse manipulates her mental state. It'll also prevent her from doing things to help or thank Ash. If she's sitting, she'll be acting like she doesn't want to help, and is sitting down. The only thing that keeps her somewhat happy is the fact that the curse only takes place in the daytime. It does get annoying that she can only be her true self at night by sneaking out, or dating Ash at night. However, that's all that mainly stands in the way of her being considered a brat, which she's not in the slightest!

Anyways, just as Lillie was finishing getting dressed, she got a notification on her phone, it was Ash sending her a text message, thankfully, the sun wasn't up yet, so she was able to reply herself, and her cursed self wouldn't be harsh!

"Hey Lillie, I'm having a party because it's my birthday today, it's at night, hopefully you and all my friends can come to it." Ash's text stated, and Lillie replied that if she can, she'll try to come with her family. Lillie turned off her phone as the sun began to rise into view, and the curse got into control again. "Well, time to get ready now." She sighed in a grouchy mood, then ate some cereal and took Snowy to school. When she got there, she was just walking to class as her mind was being fogged up again. In the class, Kukui said they had a field trip to the Battle Royal Dome, where Kukui/Masked Royal had some battles to do, and wanted to have the others participate if they wished. Ash was about to agree to battle, due to being Champion, but he remembered how Lillie was really bad to leave on her own, so he decided to sit this out for this one time, which caused Lillie to come back to her senses due to hearing that, and if she could blush she would, 'Thanks, Ash...' Lillie thought to herself.

'You're welcome, Lillie.' Ash used his Aura to chuckle to her mind, "Anyways, we should get going, I also heard my big sister wanted to participate." They were surprised but headed there anyway quickly.

When they reached there, Lillie was walking around when Ash seemed to greet someone, who looked similar to him, but a female, who seemed upset. 'I wonder what they're talking about...' Lillie thought as she went to get some popcorn, unable to hear the argument.

"Alice, sis, I know you're upset, but please, trust me on this!" Ash exclaimed in a civil tone as Alice was angry.

"Ash! No! You're my little brother!" Alice, the lady shouted, "I WILL NOT allow that BRAT of a 'girlfriend', to torture you at your birthday party! I'm making sure she doesn't get invited!, you understand?!" Ash looked towards Lillie at the concessions stand, she seemed unaffected by the curse, but, even though she would control herself during the night, he knew that Alice would make her miserable...but not going and supporting her loved one would hurt her heart

"Alright, listen, she's not a brat sis." Ash sighed, "I am inviting her, and you're not complaining, if I hear that you lay a finger on her, I will be mad!" Ash walked away and went to get in line to the concessions stand, while Lillie was leaving it, the curse prevented her from offering to share, but before Lillie could say sorry to him for that, he said that he's alright with getting his own food, and was going to say no because he wanted to let Lillie enjoy it. Soon, they were in the stands, and watching the match.

"Attention audience, we're happy to show a special one versus one match today!" The announcer, that sounded like the one from Super Smash Bros shouted, "In the red corner, we have Alice Ketchum from Pallet Town, famous for winning the Indigo Plateau Conference, without having a single Pokemon faint, at age 15, and sweeping Elite Four Agatha's whole team with an Eevee, she's on par with almost every Elite Four member, only being unable to defeat Lance, Flint, Lucian, and Galar Gym Leader Rahain of Hammerlocke, she's a force to be reckoned with, now, our other contender in the Blue corner, we have Larry, the Normal/Ice Type Elite Four from Johto, born being a prodigy on Normal and Ice Types, his favorite move is Fake Out to deal with fast opponents, now, this match will be a five vs five battle, send out your Pokemon!"

So the link keeps disappearing

"The winner is Alice!" The commentator shouts, and everyone cheers, and Lillie seems to be surprised by her strength, and that she has a Mythical Zeraora!

"Oh yeah, she saved Zeraora from this festival fiasco." Ash stated as everyone was shocked!

(Let's just say that Alice went through some of the I Choose You Movie Events, mostly).

Afterwards, Ash was secretly putting invitations in his classmates' bags, as they'd see the inivation soon, Lillie was aware of the invitation, but didn't check her bag until she got free again.

"Man, Ash thought this out, so I don't lose control because of my curse..." Lillie blushed and used her Aura Link to talk to Ash, 'Thank you Ash, see you at the party!' She then started getting ready, and partly dragging her family members to the party at night.
