"Billy please, just listen to me!" You yelled as you quick ran out of the Hargroves house, Max close behind. "I can't do this anymore!"

"Just get out of here, Y/n. I want you somewhere safe. Away from him..." Max said with a small grunt, looking back at the house. This place was like a prison. It seemed to captivate people in.. people like you. You loved Max no matter what. But Billy?

You fell in love with Billy the start of Junior year. Even though you two seemed to be polar opposites, things just clicked. Long talks in his room, his nice looks, and hot make out sessions made him irresistible. But, there were so many red flags. Sadly you chose to ignore these issues, them only growing in size. Late night partying, drinking, temper, and attitude all hit you like a truck all the time. But, you stayed around, hoping maybe something would change. That he'd change for you. He never did. He only did what he needed to do, anyway he could. So you wanting to break up with him.. wasn't going so well.

"Y/n, get back in here now.." You heard behind you as an angry Billy stormed out of the house. His hair was a mess and he seemed sweaty. Very sweaty. A yelp left your mouth as you stood there, Max between you two.

"Billy, she's her own free person! Just leave her alone!" Max spoke out with a stern tone, her bright eyes staring daggers towards him. You felt terrible having a child stick up for you, but after Billy's antics and abuse.. you felt so weak under his stare. He gave an annoyed look and pushed past Max, her chasing after him. You slowly stepped backwards as the man approached you swiftly. He had meaning behind his steps, but it wasn't exactly good. As he closed the distance, you felt your back hit his car, bum next to the window. Billy lifted both hands and slammed them at your sides, blocking any ways out from him. Your eyes quickly shut as you faced to the side, your body shaking from just the thought of an angry Billy.

"Y/n.. rethink your decision.. now. I'm the best thing you're ever gonna get.' He spoke out, his cigarette dangling from his thin lips. You slowly opened your eyes to look up at his. He blue orbs seemed so hostile and scary, it was hard not to look away. His words struck fear through your body as you realized he wasn't gonna let you off easy.

"Billy please! Just leave her be-"

"Put a sock in it Max. Listen, we may be stuck together now, but I wont hesitate to make every moment of your life a pain..' he spoke shooting daggers at her. After letting out another huff, he gave his signature smirk and looked back at you. "Listen, dollface.. there's no reason to be so brash. You need me. You'd just be another blank face in the crowd without me." He spoke relaxing his arms a bit. "Just say yes."

Your eyes widened at the thought. It was true. From dating Billy, you had gained many new friends and higher status than you ever did before. You became a heart throb and one of the most talked about kids in school. What would everyone think if you split away from Billy? Was it really worth it?

Your thoughts were spiraling out of control until you looked over to the side. You caught the eyes of Max, hers full of sadness and fear that you were even pondering staying with him. She knew who Billy was. And you did too.

After a long pause, your E/c eyes shifted back to his. He gave a slightly cocked brow and threw away his cigarette, pursing his lips. "So doll.. what's it gonna be?" He spoke out in a hurried tone, trying to unnerve you. Furrowing your brows slightly, a fire built up inside of you, one you didn't realize you really had. With both arms, you pushed Billy away from your body and backed away where Max was.
