"Hello, contestants!" The humanoid said, "Welcome to the Murder Hotel! And before you ask, no, I will not kill you unless you are a murderer and get caught."
"So... it's like in Danganronpa?" Someone asked the humanoid. Cake hadn't seen the person before. They looked like they were made of metal, and their eyes were vibrant, green screens of some sort.
"Yep," The humanoid answered, "But there will be assigned murderers. Anyways, I need you guys to form eight teams of eight. We'll go on from there."
[TIMESKIP]
Everyone had formed their teams. Cake was on a team with Loser, Clock, Pin, Coiny, Needle, Firey, and Eggy. They were given a few minutes to establish boundaries, before the humanoid spoke again.
"Oh great heavens, I've completely forgotten to introduce myself. My name is Four. Since there are sixty-four of you, we don't have time for everyone to introduce themselves to me, so I apologize for that," Four paused for a few seconds, "Anyways, let's go over roles and rules! There are two roles: Innocent and Murderer. Two people from each team will be Murderers, everyone else will be Innocents. Murderers, it's your job to kill and not get caught, and Innocents, it's your job to stay alive."
"But how will we know if we're a Murderer?" A deep voice said. Cake recognized it instantly. It was his sister, Pie. She was here too! Cake just hoped they both got the same role.
"Well, you'll know because you'll be able to detect other Murderers. Your eyes will appear red to each other, Innocents' eyes will appear green. Only Murderers can see this. Anyways, it's time for the challenge to begin!" Four explained, before snapping their fingers. Everything went black.
