v. love at first feel

waking up in severus' arms was how you always started your day and a smile always perked on your face whenever that was the first thing you saw. seeing your boyfriend sleeping peacefully beside you, made you feel warm.

you tossed to your right, then shifting underneath so his chin rested gently onto yours. severus' eyes slowly opened, looking down at you and leaving a kiss on the top of your head. "good morning darling." he mumbled, rubbing away his sleepiness.

"morning sev." you looked up to him and gave him his morning kiss. "you looked like you slept well." you admitted.

a deep chuckle escaped severus as his arms were wrapped around your middle and placed kisses all over your forehead.

"my rest has been adequate now that i'm with you." he said, you tucked his hair, playing with a few loose strands that fell to his face again.

"your hair...its getting longer." you pointed. severus looked at his hair, it had just reach shoulder length. severus ran his fingers through the strands, now his hair was out of the way and you were in perfect sight.

"it looks lovely sev." you said, pecking a kiss on his nose. you both stayed under the warm duvets, accompanied with a blanket that you had made by your own hands especially for him.

"you're so warm." you said, severus pulled you closer to him. bodies touching, you both pressed a kiss, your hand pressed against his cheek as your lips collided with one another.

once you pulled away, severus got up and opened the curtains, the autumn sunlight completely blinding you. you playfully groaned and hid under the blankets, but then the blankets were dragged away.

"come on my little vampire. we might go on a walk if you're lucky." severus said, the thought of a walk with severus made you shoot out of bed.

"okay i'm up now." you said.

"come on countess dracula, lets go then." severus teased, leaving a kiss on your cheek as he grabbed his clothes and you grabbed yours, you decided to sport a knitted jumper, your favourite skirt and some trainers. granted the trainers didn't match but they happened to be very convenient whenever you and severus went on your morning walks.

you looked over at severus who had just put on his cloak, you looked at the scarf he picked up. you could recognize your knitting anywhere, it was a simple plain black, much like the rest of his wardrobe. you grabbed it and wrapped around his neck, "you look amazing as always." you said.

severus held your hands as they were wrapped around his waist, "you look beautiful y/n." he said, turning to face you and kissing your forehead.

you both headed out of the house and you walked. severus would often talk of how his students were the absolute bane of his existence, whilst you assured him; telling him that he simply had to have patience, which was something he didn't have.

you would often talk about the little things that made you happy, you were considering taking up a job somewhere but you weren't sure where. you were just a simple muggle, you didn't have any experience in magic so you weren't sure where you stood.

"i could start doing magic now, perhaps its not too late." you said. you frowned at the thought.

"the thing with magic and wizardry is that it comes with time or you'd have to be born into a pureblood family or you'd be a halfblood." severus said.

"so it wouldn't be possible for me to learn?" you asked, a hint of defeat in your tone.

"it is possible, but as i mentioned it takes a lot of time to learn." he said. you frowned to yourself.
