First Disappointment

Pete announced we must get back to his house because it was getting late and his mother would get worried. We crossed 6 streets back to his home and I was being a jerk and screaming out the naughty DM's the girls at school sent , I wasn't realising that every time I read out those texts loud , I was hurting Pete's feelings, I hate how I didn't notice the change of his mood ever since I got consumed by them DMs.

We were going back to school tomorrow and when we arrived Pete said he was tired and would like to be alone , I said he shouldn't sleep and wait up for me and we will play video games for the rest of the night as it was a Saturday and it would be a waste to sleep early.

I was going to see one of the girls from my DMs and was thinking I would hang out with her for an hour or two then I will go to my friend's room to play video games. I enjoyed the girl's company and I couldn't think of anything besides chilling with her , Pete tried calling me simultaneously and I switched my phone off as it was ringing non-stop. Maya said she was getting cold and she would like to get back to her room, I accompanied her and I was hoping to get a kiss from her when we said our goodbyes , I was standing by her door ready to lean for her kiss but the security guard screamed furiously down the girl's hall way. I ran straight to Pete's room and I found him sleeping , I got upset and asked myself why did he sleep when I told him to not to! I don't know what forced me to check my wrist watch  and I noticed it was 2:30 am immediately after that I noticed that Pete had taken out popcorns and had prepared everything for our boy's video game night. I got ashamed and jumped to the other bed in Pete's bedroom , the was no pillow there so I took one from Pete's bed and I wondered why it felt wet because Pete was just using it. I slept!
