I was relieved when I got to my room , I took out my books and started to study and shortly aftet that my English short story book caught my attention , I turned on them pages looking for a story to read and one short story caught my attention , it was speaking about the same gender love and how this one boy bestfriends fell in love. I read it and throughout the story I was giving out my homophobic comments , I was being a jackass until I read the part where the other boy realised that his bestie has a massive crush on him. When the story started to reveal the boy noticed from his best friend , I realized that the same signs the boy has noticed are the same signs Pete has been showing me and I had been not noticing!
I was angry asf , I left the desk and laid down on the floor , it was cold but I didn't notice as I was confused about the things I read in the book and the signs Pete has showed me. “ Could it be? Pete likes me? Come on Will it's true , sincd the first time we met the signs we always there!” I yelled out in my head. I was angry and confused but I wasn't upset. I decided I'll go look for him tommorow and ask him if he finds me attractive and likes me, I needed to know! I wanted to know. I slept with a fuming mind.
