Hey Dingus

First thought

My first thought when I woke up was a girl with blue eyes, brown shoulder length hair, freckles and god that raspy voice. I shut my alarm off groaning, "Y/N GET UP YOU HAVE WORK" I rubbed my eyes laying on bed for a few moments. It's fucking stupid I never wanted to get a job this summer, but my parents said it would be good for me.

I got out of bed walking into the bathroom doing my business then showering. I opened my closet door getting out the stupid sailor uniform. I got dressed before applying my makeup.

The phone in my room rang "Hello?" The raspy voice that I loved so much came through the line "Hey Y/N its Robin from work. I was wondering if you could pick breakfast up on your way in? Steve is complaining and its getting very annoying" I laughed softly "Uh ya, I might be a little late though"

I heard Steve say something to her "What did he say?" She giggled "He's being a dingus, can you get bagels?" I nodded "Ya sure. Umm what do you two want?" She told me their order, "Alrighty, I'll see you in a few" She mumbled a goodbye. I laid on my bed smiling like an idiot, her voice was just so hot what the actual fuck

Coming into work was a blur. I handed Robin the bagels getting her smile. I swear my heart could melt at the very moment in time. No one was coming into the shop yet because it was 11:30 in the morning, so we had it all to ourselves. The three of us ate and talked about stupid shit.

"NO way, Friday the 13th is way scarier than nightmares on elm street" Robin looked at me like I was the dumbest person to ever live "What the fuck. No, its not even that scary. Nightmare on Elm is the scariest movie of all time"

I shook my head "What? How? You could easily survive Freddy Kruger by not sleeping. But with Jason he keeps coming back and kills you" Steve finished his food taking our trash while we continued to argue "All I'm saying is that Nightmare is scarier" I rolled my eyes standing up

"We shall agree to disagree princess" She shoved me slightly "Don't call me princess, love" I smirked when she flirted back "Whatever you say princess" we got back to work just as the rush came in

"Hey I'm Y/N what can I get you ladies?" the brunette smiled "May I please have a mint chocolate chip?" I smiled "And for you?' the other girl bit her lip "Surprise me" I smiled "Cone or cup?" they smiled "Cup" I nodded grabbing one scooping up mint ice cream first "Here you are" I looked at the other girl "One surprise coming up" She blushed slightly making me smirk.

I scooped up a rocky road putting it in the cup "Here you are m'lady" She blushed even harder "How much do we owe you?" I smiled "$1.25 each" the girls payed me "Have a great day" They walked out of the shop smiling to themselves

"How the hell" I turned to Steve smiling "What can I say Harrington the ladies love me" he rolled his eyes "I hate you Wheeler" I smiled leaning against the counter "You love me" He rolled his eyes "Ya well not anymore" I laughed walking to the back "Breaks up Buckley" She pulled her headphones out "Hmm?"

I nodded towards the front "Breaks up" She nodded getting up "I listened to that song" I nodded "And what did you think?" She smiled "It was good" I smiled sitting at the table "I have great taste"

I was starting to fall asleep till someone grabbed my headphones from my ears "Jesus Steve you scared the shit out of me" He laughed "Your brother and his friends are here" I rolled my eyes "Take 'em to the back" He shook his head "Your turn" I got up yawning, I walked out front seeing Mike with all his friends

"Wheres Dustin? I thought he got back today" Max smiled "He does but not till later" I nodded leading them towards the back "Y'all know the rules don't do something stupid. And if someone hears about this" they all said the same thing in unison "We're dead" I nodded watching them walk down the hallway towards the movies.

I walked back shaking my head "Not even a thank you from them" He laughed "Your really need to stop letting them use you like that" I sat on the counter next to him "My mom would kill me if I wasn't nice to Mike and his little friends" He smiled ringing up a customer "Wheeler off the counter"

I turned seeing Robin shaking my head "She's gonna kill us both" I laughed at Steves remark "We both know she's to smitten with you" He rolled his eyes "Do you think so?" I nodded "Ya, have you seen the way she looks at you?"

I hopped off the counter grabbing my bag from the back "Where do you think your going?" I smiled "Lunch. Do you want anything?" She blushed "Uhh, ya if you don't mind" I smiled "Your usual?" The smiled on her lips told me all I needed to know "I'll make sure to tell the guys extra mustard" She scrunched her noes in disgust "If you do that I'm hitting you" I smiled bowing "Till we meet again Lady Buckley"

She mumbled dingus under her breath as I walked away. I smiled like an idiot while I was walking all the power stopped, I frowned that's weird. In all my time working at the mall I've never encored, seen or experienced a power outage, but a few seconds later it was back up.

I walked up to hot dog on a stick ordering the three of us food. "So Wheeler are you doing anything after you shift?" I shrugged "I might go hang with a few friends, why?" The guys smiled "Because I would like to take you out" I rolled my eyes "I'm seeing someone sorry" He looked down "Who?" I clenched my jaw "Uhh, Steve Harington" He crinkled his nose "Your sisters ex?" I grabbed my food "Uh, ya"

I quickly walked back towards the shop "Whats wrong?" I ignored Robin walking to the back looking for Steve, "Harington" he looked up "Hmm" I handed him his food "The guy from hot dog on a stick asked me out" His smile dropped "Do you want me to say anything?" I nodded "Ya, well I sorta uh told him we're together" he laughed "Funny"

I looked at him seriously "I panicked" he got up shaking his head "Alright so we're dating?" I nodded "Yup" he nodded "Well the I guess I must go tell him to back off my girlfriend" I laughed watching him leave the break room, a few seconds later Robin walked in

"You and Harrington?" I frowned "Since when?" I shook my head "We aren't dating Buckley. The guy from hot dog on a stick asked me out again" she seemed relieved "That prick. God does he ever take the hint?" I shrugged taking a sip of my drink "No ones in shop right now, wanna eat?" I nodded
