The Reunion (completed one shot story)

You have always been afraid of love, ever since that day you confessed to your crush that he liked you. He played you like a string  and you fell for it hook line and sinker.

The day you found out that he was only using you so that he can pass his classes was the day that  broke your heart.

Even after all this years his words still cut like a knife and echoes in your mind. "

Who would fall in love with a nerd like you Y/N?" he laughed.

 You promised yourself you won't allow anyone in your heart any more,

Once is enough you tell yourself.

You've work so hard to get where you are today, you are far from the nerdy girl in high school, you've build an empire that the Romans would envy.

People call you the ice queen behind your back because of how cold and intimidating you are.

Y/N what the fuck are you afraid of?  You asked yourself,

It's just a high school reunion, no biggie, you try to tell yourself.

Earth to Y/N, your friend Eve teases you..

You're not your usual self today, what's the problem she asked?

"Do I really need to attend that stupid reunion huh Eve?"  You asked, frustration coats your voice..

"I know you don't want to go Y/N but you need to, to show that asshole how successful you are. "  

Eve says to boost your confidence.

"They can read on the paper how successful I am" 

You said as you walk out of your office laughing.

Finally back to your normal mood, you decided to go to your favorite coffee shop for that kick of caffeine..

You ordered your favorite drink and found a spot in the corner. While you were lost in your thoughts and paper works. You heard someone said

"Hi, is this seat taken?" You ignored the question and pretended to not hear it. Without waiting for an answer the voice just took a seat right in front of you..

You continue what you are doing but got the urge to stop because you felt like someone is staring at you.. And when you raised your head you saw the most kissable lips there ever is.. Cherry red and opened a little.. You wondered how it would taste like.

"Wtf Y/N? snap out of it" you said to yourself. You look up a little higher and you saw a pair of the most beautiful brown eyes that you've ever seen. You got a feeling of deja vu as if you knew this guy from somewhere. Before you can open your mouth to speak

He suddenly said "That's why you look familiar, you're Y/N from high school right?"

You rack your brain trying to place a name to this face, but he beats you to it.

"You may not remember me but I'm Seokjin we were classmates in chemistry during our senior year" He tells you as he sheepishly smiles

Memories flood your brain as you suddenly remember who he is. The boy with glasses who was always making the class laugh with his antics.

"How did that dorky kid turn into this guy? It's as if the universe took its sweet time to create him" Lost in your thoughts, you didn't notice you were staring at him.
