The Adventure Kids meet the League of Super Pets

Chapter 2

Eventually, Teeders, David and Cynthia came to visit. The Harpercop siblings took their friends down to the park to meet with Superman and Krypto. 

"So, you really know Superman?" Teeders asked her friends with interest. 

"Oh, yeah" Brock began boasting. "Sometimes they'll let us help out on missions, bust criminals, and even take us flying!"

"Just wait until you meet them," Ann smiled. "They're so awesome!"

Cynthia rolled her eyes. "Pfft! A dog with super powers? Of all the ridculous things in this crazy world"

The Akids entered the park, seeing a statue of Superman and Krypto in the center. 

"They should be here any second now" Kali said while scanning the skies of Metropolis. 

While they waited David moved in close next to Cynthia, attempting to flirt with her. 

"My, Cynthia the way the sunlight refelcts off your face just makes me want to swoon. And might I ask, what is that stunning fragrance you're wearing?" The adventure boy asked. 

"It's cat pee" The young fashionista replied with a deadpan look. "A stray cat peed on me on our way over here. Remember, you were there?"

David chuckled in embarrassment before Brock pulled him aside. 

"Listen David, you'll never have a chance with Cynthia if you keep stalking her" He advised. "On the other hand, if you back off and play it cool... You also have no chance"

"Thanks man!" David smiled back at his friend, not fully understanding. 

"There they are!" Ann pointed out, being the first to spot the super duo.

Krypto and Superman flew down, landing over near Lois Lane, Superman's girlfriend, who had just finished giving a report. The Akids watched from a distance and giggled when they saw Krypto steal Superman's hotdog while he had been distracted talking with Lois. 

"Boy, they sure are getting pretty close" Teeders mentioned about Superman and Lois's relationship. 

"Unlike some of us" David sulked, looking back at Cynthia who refused to give him the time of day. 

Brock then realized something. "Ha! David you're like the Jimmy Olsen of our group!"

The kids kept watching Superman and Lois. However they were having one slight problem... Krypto was constantly getting in between them. Superman tried getting Krypto to play fetch with his favorite toy, Squeezy Bruce, in order for him to leave them alone but it wasn't working. 

The Akids decided to go on over as Kali waved, calling out. "Hey, Superman. Hi, Lois"

Superman turned, seeing the Akids and smiled. "Hey, kids. Good to see you"

"How's school going?" Lois asked them. 

"Pretty good" Ann smiled. 

"Meh" Brock shrugged his shoulders. 

Kali then introduced everyone. "Guys, this is Superman. Superman, these are the Adventure Kids. Cynthia Widdlestene, David Clancy, and Teeders" 

"Nice to meet you" Superman greeted before asking the kids. "Say, would you guys mind playing with Krypto for awhile?"

"Sure" Kali smiled, calling to Krypto. "Come on, Krypto"

"Okay!" Krypto wagged his tail as the twins took Squeezy Bruce and the kids went off with the superdog. Hopefully this would give Superman and Lois some alone time.
