Chapter 7

"Baby girl, lemme see what you have in that bag?" I asked as I grabbed it. She literally had a bag full of toys.
"Now mami, you were supposed to be putting the stuff I took out in this bag. You need clothes pretty girl, not toys," she giggled and ran off to do as I asked. I sighed and continued making her lunch.
"Karin, I got her bag don't worry bout it," Giovanni said as he brushed past me in the kitchen. I sighed, cause he knew exactly what he was doing, but I'm not gonna fall for it.
"What kind of chips you want with your sandwich baby girl?" I asked Kairi as I placed the sandwich in-front if her.
"Can I get the red chips please,"
"Of course honey. Let me know if you need anything okay?" I told her as I washed my hands at the kitchen sink.
"Okay," with that I walked up to Laïa'a room.
"Come eat sweetpea," I said as I stood in her doorframe.
"Go on baby, I'll finish your bag," Giovanni told her as she pouted.
"Okay daddy," she ran past me downstairs and left me with him.
"Is Kairi's mother still going it's y'all?"  I asked as he huffed his breath.
"Yeah, is that a problem?" He asked I shook my head.
"Just please don't leave Laïa around her alone. I'm sorry you don't believe me but I really don't trust her." I told him as he sighed.
"Alrigh Karin. Heard you," I fought the urge to smack my lips and Simply walked downstairs to meet Laïa.
"Sweet pea, remember what we talked about?" She nodded real big.
"Yup I member mommy. I promise I make daddy take lots of pictures for you," I smiled and kissed her cheek.
"You are so cute baby," I said making her giggle.
"I love you mommy," my heart could literally burst.
"I love you to the moon and back sweetpea," she finished her sandwich and I decided to use that time to check my schedule and plan somethings out.
I had two clients tomorrow morning so that left me a free afternoon, that's I'd probably link up with one of my siblings or get a solo lunch.
"Alright we're ready to go. Tell your mom by Laïa," Giovanni said as she cheered.
"By mommy I miss you so much!" I smiled.
"Mommy's gonna miss you more baby. Be good for daddy okay?" She nodded and hugged me one more time before they left I sighed at the empty house and went to take a shower and than a nap.

We were only 2 hours into our trip and Millie was already tripping. Apparently she was in her feelings about me having another kid, but she ain't my bitch so she ain't got no reason to be mad.
"Alright ladies, what do we want for lunch?" I asked the girls. Alaïa spoke first.
"Can we get alfredo daddy?" I chuckled of course she wanted something expensive instead of regular kid stuff. I mean look at her mama, she had them on a damn good diet.
"What's alfredo daddy?" Kairi asked as her mother rolled her eyes.
"Something that adults eat. Not little kids," she said. I smacked my lips.
"It's just food Millie ain't no age limit on it. What do you wanna eat baby girl?" I asked Kairi. She shrugged.
"I want what my sister wants," she said hugging Alaïa. I smiled at them. They really love each other and that made me so happy.
"Alright alfredo it is. Y'all go play and I'll order it for y'all," they ran off to play and I turned to Millie who had a clear as day attitude.
"Can you not? Like this trip is for the kids and your acting like you got a problem or something.
"Because I do have a problem Giovanni! How are you just gonna start claiming a random ass kids and than being her around our daughter like that's weird. Than you let my baby be around that little ass girl. Like I'm starting to think you like fucking with kids cause what the fuck," I chuckled. This bitch has lost her marbles.
"Are you dead ass Milagrito? She's a baby, she ain't got nothing to do with you having an issue with her mom. So dead that right now and fucking with kids? You know damn well I don't even get down like that so miss me with the bull shit man,"
"Whatever David, just keep that little girl in checks I don't need her influencing my baby with her spoiled ass ways,"
"Millie please shut the fuck up, cause it's taking everything in me not to smack the piss outta you for talking about my kid like that. And keep my government out your mouth." I said to her as calm as possible.
"Whatever, leave me alone right now," she said with her attitude as she walked off. I chuckled and ordered my shorties they food. Millie could doordash or walk to get herself something now for all I care.
I got a text message and I swiped down seeing it was from Karin.

Baby mama 2: hey, have Laïa call me before bed please. I miss her. 🥺

I laughed at her message. She was really attached to Laïa.

Giovanni- of course. We finna order dinner now and than ill have her call after.

Baby mama 2: okay thank you.

Giovanni- what you doing?

I was trying to make conversation cause it seemed like she was being weird lay time I saw her in person. If anything I'm the one that should be mad. She read my message but never responded. Damn that shit kinda hurt my feelings I'm not gone lie. Shit oh well. I locked my phone and walked out to the main area. I saw something that almost made me murder my baby mama though.
"Yo' what the fuck is wrong with you cuz?"
