Zaya's Pov:

"Imhotep was sentenced to the Homdai after breaking the most sacred rule and removed the book of the dead from its holy resting place… He tried to resurrect his lover, but failed. If resurrected he will unleash an unholy curse upon the world," I spoke. "Guys I don't think we should open his sarcophagus," I said. They opened it anyway, but nothing happened. We were tired so we went outside, ate dinner and everyone went to bed. I began to read from the book of the dead but blacked out while chanting the spell. Soon I was awoken to the sound of someone screaming and bugs flying everywhere. My uncle, mom, Rick, and I ran inside to the tomb but we were attacked by Scarabs. I was soon separated from the group and was in a Dark room. I felt a weird presence. I was a little scared, then I saw Mr. Burns. "Mr. Burns, can you help me?" I asked. He grabbed my arm, hurting me. "Ow… you're hurting me," I said. That's when I saw that his eyes and tongue were removed, I couldn't help but scream. Then I saw Imhotep's decomposing corpse but he's very much alive.

Imhotep's POV:

I looked at the little girl in shock, she looked exactly like
Zahra when she was a child. My Zahra has returned to me, I am now the happiest person in the world. "Zahra my love you have returned to me… Thank the gods… Thank you for bringing her back to me," I cried tears of Joy. I pulled her into a hug then kissed the top of her head. She smelled the exact same, she smelled like Aaru.
"ZAYA!" a woman called her then pulled her into her arms.
As soon as she saw me she screamed. I was overflowing with rage… I felt Anuk Sonamoon's spirit off the woman.
"Anuk Sonamoon you leave her alone… I won't let you hurt
my Zahra ever again," I said. Then a man came in and as soon as he saw me he shot me. She was going to take my Zahra away from me again. I went after them but lost them, but found a man. As soon as he saw me he cowered and began to cry prayers in different languages until I noticed one. "The language of the slaves… You may be of use to me," I said.
"Of course master," he said.
"Good… now tell me where I can find the sacred canopic
jars and the girl they call Zaya," I said. I

Zaya's Pov:

I heard thunder, I never liked storms so I was hiding my
face in my mom's sweater. I had that feeling I had in the dark scary room, then we were grabbed by Rick brought upstairs and that's when I saw Mr. Burns. He had his life drained out of him. That's when I saw him, Imhotep was regenerating. His face softened as soon as he saw me then he came toward me. "Imhotep," I whimpered.
"My sweet Zahra… don't be scared I will and would never
harm you," he said in a soft soothing voice. "I will not let anyone harm you or take you away from me again," he said, pulling me into a hug. He smelt bad but I held back a gag, but somehow I felt safe when I was with him. That's when my Uncle, Rick and two other men started shooting. Imhotep covered me using his body as my shield, but one of the guy's bullets hit me in the shoulder and I let out a scream. "NO!!! HOW DARE YOU HURT MY ZAHRA!!! HOW DARE YOU HURT MY LOVE," he roared. He then threw Rick into my uncle and the two other guys. "You saved me from the undead… for that I thank you... My love are you hurt," he asked softly. He looked absolutely terrified after seeing my blood on his rotting flesh. Soon we were all caught off guard by my mom's cat Cleo hopping on the piano, Imhotep looked at her and disappeared into a sand cloud flying out the balcony door closing it behind him. I fell to the ground but when I woke up I was in bed with a bandage wrapped around my shoulder. I heard my mom and Rick talking to someone along with my mom's boss.
"Who is Zahra and why does Imhotep think Zaya is her?"
She said. "Why does he call me Anuk Sonamoon?" She asked.
"I don't know Zahra," the man said. "But Anuk
Sonamoon was Imhotep's love; he wanted to resurrect her so he could be by his side," he said.
"He seems more interested in Zahra than Anuk Sonamoon," she said
