As both of you where giggling and laughing while playing with the puppy. You and Stephen where on the floor because you guys where already tired so you spark a conversation

"You're actually fun to hang around with," you said

"Well I'm always fun to hang around with," he winks at you

You couldn't help but to blush, "Yeah well you're also way cooler than I thought"

"Well-" he says being interrupted

"HEY WIZARDS STOP BEING WEIRD COMEBACK HERE," Tony yells from the balcony he then whistles "Fluffly!"

You both start laughing

"Well that's the cutest name," you've said

"Most likely Peter named her that," he laughs trying to pick you up

As you both went inside Tony says, "you two lo-"

As he didn't get to finish the sentence he gets whacked in the head by Pepper, "What did I tell you"

He rolls his eyes, "Fine I won't say anything. Nat you say it"

She sighs, "Ok so since there is that event where two heroes are being chosen to be recognised for New York City council. We've all even it's citizens chose you two and sent us the tickets"

"I- well when is it?" You asked

"Tonight at 8pm" Nat says

"Wait I don't have anything to wear" you and Stephen said at the same time But Tony and pepper came out with a gift

As both of you opened it you where in awe. (Shown at the end of the chapter).

"This dress is beautiful," you said

"We all pitched in," Wanda said happily

"Ok now you two go get dressed we cannot wait to see you two," Nat said smiling

—2 hours later—

As you walked out you saw Stephen already ready but he couldn't help but look at you in awe.

"Oh my god!" Peter said

As everyone turned around they where all breath taken.

As you walked up to Stephen you whispered, "Your bow tie is crocket let me fix that" as you fixed it Toby said, "Alright you two stop being cute let's take you guys pictures"

As Tony took a picture like a dad he was he says, "Alright you two there's a limbo outside"

As Nat whispers in your ear she says, "Have a good time with him"

You smiled and mouthed 'Thank you'

She winked back before you and Stephen went down

"You look good, darling," he says in the sexiest tone

"Well don't you look dashing, handsome," you winked.

As you two hopped on the limbo you where getting nervous Stephen noticed.

He couldn't help but to hold your hand, "It'll be ok I'll be by your side this whole time."

You smiled

"When you get nervous hold my hand,"he says with a small smile before kissing your forehead.

As both of you arrived Stephen got out first he held the door and closed it after you walked out. 

You got super nervous that you looked back at Stephen. As soon as he saw your nervous face he held your hand.
