Bright Experiments (Test Tube X Lightbulb ii Fanfic)

Lightbulb's POV:

Yesterday me and Tube decided to go back to the hotel since it was relatively closer. We slept in separate beds but I secretly snuck into hers. She'll never know hehe.. today we're going to go to a coffee shop, I suggested the idea and since Test Tube wasn't feeling that active she said that some coffee couldn't hurt. So now we're off to Knifes coffee shop, who knew that a guy like him could make coffee- But, at least he's doing what he wants to do. We walk in and we see Knife from the corner of our eyes. "Yo! Welcome!" We waved at him. We ordered our drinks and sat at a nearby table. "So, why did you want to go to a coffee shop?" "Oh you know- it's a nice.. hangout place!" I said trying to brush off the question. It's a classic thing that in romance movies and novels that they go to a coffee shop, but that's usually when they met- either way, it's still romantic in media. "Uhh Lighty?" "Mhm?" "You're- Cheeks are glowing-" "Oh!" I quickly cover my cheeks. Who knew that thinking about romance could make you blush by the thought of it. But no worries, I can keep my composure.. probably..

Test Tube's POV:

Lighty is acting a bit suspicious.. I won't question it yet, but she definitely has a plan of some sort. We got our drinks and Knife asked for payment. I was about to say something when Lightbulb said, "I'll pay!" "Your total is $8." She handed Knife 8 crumpled up $1 bills with a spare quarter. "Keep the change!" She said with a smile. Knife thanked her and walked away. I looked back at Lightbulb who was already putting her straw in her drink. "So- what did you get?" I asked. "Oh! I got a Vanilla bean frap." I have no idea what that is but she seemed happy with it. "What did you get?" "Just a black coffee-" I said while taking a sip of my coffee. "Lemme try!" She said excited. She grabbed my cup gently and took a sip. "Not my favorite but it's ok." She said while placing the coffee back near me. "Do you wanna try mine?" "Uhm- sure-" she held her cup infront of my face. I tasted her drink and it wasn't that bad- just a little sweet for my taste. "This is pretty good! What's in it?" "Oh, I don't know- Milk or something-" "Oh!-" I'm lactose intolerant. She must've seen the look on my face so she pulled her drink back. "You ok Testy?-" "Mhm!- Just fine!-" I continued to drink my coffee.

Lightbulb's POV:

Testy is acting weird- all is said is that my drink had milk in it, that's all. Wait... IS SHE LACTOSE INTOLERANT?!? What did I do- Maybe she will be fine! No biggie- She looks ok, she's just folding napkins right now, BUT WHAT WILL HAPPEN??? Will she explode?? Will she die?? I have no idea. "Are you sure you're ok?-" "Mhm!-" She looked up at me and smiled. Now I'm even more worried. I finished my drink as quickly as possible without getting brain freeze and threw away my cup. "Ok I'm finished! Now we can leave!" "Wait what-" She looked up at me in confusion. She looks cute but for right now I have to make sure she doesn't die. I grabbed her by the arm and waved to Knife. She quickly grabbed her coffee and we walked out the shop. I quickly hurried her to the hotel and put her on her bed. "Testy, I want to formally apologize for making you almost die, if you don't forgive me, that's fine, I deserve it." "Wh-" "Shhhh- it's ok-" "Lighty I'm not going to die-" "Huh?" I looked at her in confusion. "It's just milk- I'm not going to die-" "Then what does happen if you drink milk?" "You don't wanna know, but thank you for being concerned because if something does happen, I know you'll be there." She smiled. "Oh- ok-" I feel so embarrassed right now. I just dragged her out of the coffee shop for nothing- but at least she won't die- heh-
