Test Tube's POV:

I was on a walk with Lightbulb and Fan just talking since according to Fan, we need to catch up. "So, how long have you guys been together for?" "Are you just going to just ask about our relationship?-" I asked. "I know it seems like it, but it's just a few questions-" "How many questions?" "5." "That's not too many!" Lightbulb chipped in. "He could ask us way more if he wanted-" Lighbulb said. "True, I guess we can answer them-" Fan smiled. "Ok, how long have you been dating for?" "A few weeks- I forgot the exact day but I know it was a few weeks." Fan nodded. "How did you tell Lightbulb or Test Tube?" Golly this felt like an interview- "Uhm- It was mostly Lightbulb who told me but I made the most gestures- it was technically both of us." "Interesting- but cute!" Lightbulb looked over and saw an ice cream place, so she pointed it out. "Ooh! Flavored ice!" She said while pointing. Me and Fan looked over and looked at the ice cream shop. "Can we go there?" "Sure! Why not? You coming?" I said to Fan. "Of course! I wouldn't turn down ice cream!" He said. We walked into the place and ordered our ice cream. We paid and got our sweets, then sat down. I got mint chocolate chip, Lightbulb got vanilla, and Fan got chocolate. We were casually chatting, and by that I meant it felt like a game show by the amount of questions Fan asked, but it was nice. Lightbulb got a little ice cream on her cheek. "Oh, you got a little something on your cheek-" I said while grabbing a napkin. I wiped it off, but then I heard someone walking in the door. Fan tapped my shoulder, so I looked over and look who it is, Paintbrush. I panicked a bit, so I crumpled up the napkin and continued to eat my ice cream, so did everyone else. They looked over and saw us at our table, so they walked over to say hello. "Oh, hey guys!" We awkwardly waved back. "Are you guys hanging out?" "Uhh, yeah! Do you wanna sit with us?-" Fan said. "Oh, sure!" Paintbrush sat in a spare chair and scooted up to our table. Me and Lightbulb looked over at each other, then looked back, we both knew we had to tell them.

Lightbulb's POV:

I was hoping we could tell Painty about me and Tube later but uhh, they're here, and sitting with us. I never thought I would be so awkward around a friend, It's just weird hiding a secret from a friend. "So, how are you guys?" They asked. "We've been... Good-" Test Tube said awkwardly. "Ok... What have you guys been doing? I haven't really heard from you or Lightbulb in a while." Test Tube froze up a bit, it was clear she had no idea what to say. "We've just been hanging out a lot-" It sounds suspicious, but they believe we're just friends so their reaction shouldn't be too bad. "Oh, maybe all four of us can hang out sometime." They smiled. I looked over at Test Tube, she was just eating her ice cream trying to partially ignore what was happening. I feel like now is a good time to tell them, just to get it out the way now. "Hey uh.. Can I tell you something Painty? Like privately?-" I said. They looked confused for the most part, but they agreed. We walked out the ice cream shop and stood on the left side of the sidewalk. "So, what is it you want to tell me?" They looked down at me. I was tapping my foot just to stay calm. I peaked in the window of the shop really quickly, Tube looked insanely nervous and Fan was trying to calm her down. I looked back up at Paintbrush and took a deep breath. "So, there's something important I have to tell you." "I'm listening." I felt like I was going to pass out. "Uhm.. Me and Test Tube are uhh.. Uhm.." "You're what?" I stopped talking and took a deep breath in again. "We're... together." Their eyes lit up and they hugged me, it felt weird being the one getting hugged. "Thanks for telling me." They were relatively calm, I thought they were going to flip out. They stopped hugging me. "Let's head back inside, your ice cream is gonna melt." They joked. We headed back inside and sat back down, Tube looked over at me, then at Paintbrush. She sighed. "Did you tell them?-" "Mhm." She covered her face with her hands, she was probably as red as a tomato. Fan comforted her. "It's fine, I told you it would go well-" Fan looked over at Me. "Did it go well?-" I nodded. "See, I told you." Paintbrush giggled a bit. "There's no need to worry Test Tube." They said. "I know, it's still a bit embarrassing.." She laughed a bit. We finished our ice cream and were getting ready to leave. "Do you guys wanna hang out sometime?" Paintbrush said, it felt nice to just be normal around them now. "Oh, sure! Just text us." Test Tube said. We stood up and walked out the shop.

Test Tube's POV:

That whole experience made me feel stressed, but at least it went smoothly. Me and Lightbulb were walking back to the lab while Paintbrush and Fan were walking back to the hotel. Lightbulb looked up at me. "Are you ok?" "Huh? Oh, yeah." I didn't realize I was zoning out, so I must've looked weird. "Oh, ok." We got back into the lab and sat down. It felt weirdly good to sit in an office chair again. "Did you like your ice cream?" Lightbulb asked me. "Oh uh, yeah-" silence filled the air. "Are you still thinking about what happened?" She suddenly asked, I was.. but I didn't want it to seem like a big deal. "No, what makes you think that?" "You just seem off, like that time we told Fan." She knew, it just felt awkward and stressful, but it's not her fault, it's just my brain doing a stunt. "I'm fine, ok?" I said gently. "Ok, I just wanted to make sure." Now I feel bad for lying. I just don't want her to worry, I'm fine, it's just I got stressed. She walked over to me and held my hand. "Where was that room we were in when we first confessed?" "Why?" "I just wanted to check it out again-" She said while smiling. I stood up and led her to the room. We walked inside and closed the door behind us. "So, why did you-" I turned around and Lightbulb wrapped her arms around me and kissed me. I pulled her in closer, I didn't expect her to do this, but it felt nice. She pulled back and looked up at me. "Do you feel better now?~" I giggled and looked down at her. "Maybe-" "..Your eyes are so pretty." I don't know how, but that caught me and my face felt like it was burning. "Oh, I uh-" She giggled and put her hand on my face. I held her cheeks and pulled her into a kiss. My face felt like it was on fire, but in a good way. She felt warm, and she just felt as if she was just comfortable being here. I could tell she was flustered, she felt fidgety. I soon let go and she looked up at me. "I- uhm- woah-" She stuttered. "Did I do something wrong?-" I asked, she doesn't stutter that much so I got worried. "No- the opposite actually~" She sounded out of breath. "You took my breath away- literally-" she joked. I giggled a bit. "Would you like to sit down?" I asked. She nodded and we walked to one of the corners in the room. We sat there in silence for a bit. "Hey, isn't this the corner that we were in when we confessed? Like, the exact same one?" Lightbulb asked. "Hm, I think it was that one-" I pointed to another corner in the room. "That one does look like it- it doesn't matter though-" She shrugged. "You know, I actually thought you had a crush on me for a while, I just thought of it as a maybe though." Lightbulb said. I looked over at her. "Really?" "Yeah, I even asked Painty, but they said that it was just a possibility." She shrugged. "Well look at us now-" I joked. She giggled and held my hand. "Yeah, that's just how time works- I think-" "Mhm, I was wanting to tell you for a while but I just didn't have the courage to say it to your face, but luckily I did that one day." I said. It felt nice reminiscing on old stuff, except those embarrassing moments that keep me up at night, but memories are important, they make for great stories. Lightbulb placed her head on my shoulder. "Yeah, I'm glad you did."
