Harry had so many questions. So many. He didn't know what to ask first (He didn't know if he wants the answers if he's honest) Harry doesn't know if he should even be with Louis anymore. Think about it! Louis murdered someone. Yes, that person was at the top of his hit list but still.

But then at the same time, Harry would have done the same. Well, maybe not the killing part. He probably would have just gone to the police and told them to lock him up. And now his husbands in jail.

Harry picks up annes phone with a sigh. He has to use his mothers since Louis can only call Anne to know if Harrys is awake or not. So there he is sitting on the matrice.

Harry's ribs healed enough so he can sit up by himself, harry can walk around now too. He'll be realised soon but he has no idea where to go

The more harry thought about it the more stressed he got. He wanted desperately to hear Louis's voice. But somewhere in the back of his mind is saying Louis a murderer. Harry tries to push the thoughts away as he waits for the phone to ring

Anne said it would ring sometime this week. Harrys had been waiting for two days. Its Wednesday. It has to be today right?

Cutting through Harry's wild thoughts was the phone ringing. Harry instantly clutched it in his hands and pressed answer without and through and pressed it to his ear.

"Hello?" Harry says his breathing heavier just wanting to hear Louis's sweet voice through the phone. But it goes silent. Harry thinks it's a prank call before he hears a faint "baby?"

Harry could cry. Wiping his nose and sniffing he nods even though Louis couldn't see him "yeah, yeah it's me" harry can hear Louis relief through the phone "fuck baby oh god I miss you so fucking much" Harry's eyes well up with tears "I miss you too" Harrys voice cracks

"Hey, don't cry, baby. shh it's okay I'm okay I promise" harry bites his lip shaking his head looking up to the sealing to stop the tears "y-your- you're not here," Harry says sniffing "you're in jail. You k-k-" Louis shushes harry

"Baby I know. I need you to take a breath yeah, it sounds scratchy" harry tries to calm down as best as he can "that's it good boy" harry breathes out shakily

"Lou, please. Why did you do it? Why?" Harry pleads through the phone. "You know Simon well as I babe. You know that he wouldn't have stopped until he killed us" harry shakes his head "you could have gone to the police!" Harry shouts shocking himself

"And what would they have done, huh? When you were tied up at simons. I found you. Me. They didn't try one bit-" Louis says harshly through the phone getting cut off. After the line seems to go silent "lou" harry says brokenly

"15 minutes left" harry hears faint In the background "only 15 minutes are you serious!" Harry can hear Louis argue "lou please don't argue talk to me"

Louis comes back a moment later with a sigh "I'm sorry baby. I don't have much time" harry bites his lip "how are you?" Louis asks quietly seeming like he wants to savour the moment.

"I'm okay. My ribs are better-ish and I'm walking again" harry can tell Louis smiling from the other side "that's the good baby I'm so proud of you" Harry smiles until it fades a bit.

"Can I ask you something?" Harry says and louis hums "anything babe" harry looks down at the rings he's recently been allowed to start wearing again "why did you make mum and Gemma lie?"

Harry hears Louis's sign "baby-" harry cuts him off his anger seeping in a bit "I just can't believe you made my mum lie!" Harry says

"I'm sorry sun, I am baby. It just felt wrong me not telling you in person" tears gather in Harrys eyes

"Please lou I thought you would be here when I woke up" harry stops but continues "I looked around the room trying to find you. It hurt. A lot. I just wanted you by my side but instead, you were in jail."

"I'm so so sorry babe. I love you so much, the second I realized that I wouldn't be able to be by your side I regret ever doing it" harry cuddles back into the bedding

"Now I have to go 20 years without you," harry says sadly and Louis hums along "but we can call and you can visit. They have visiting days"

"Will I be able to hug you?" Louis sighs "afraid not baby. We're behind a screen" harry sighs and Louis speaks up

"Can I ask you something?" Harry agrees "why didn't you tell me- that you were still in a contract with Simon" harry bites his lip "to save you"

Louis's line goes silent for a second "what do you mean 'to save me?" Harry didn't get his answer out before in the background he heard

"Alright times up"

Harry's eyes widen "NO" he shouts through the phone "it's an okay baby. ill call you okay? Yeah, I'll call you I love you" Louis says as fast as he can "LOUIS NO" harry shouts hearing Louis pleading for two more minutes "I LOVE YOU" harry shouts through the phone before the line goes dead.
