His One & Only

6. Coffee Stop.

POV: Lorenzo

I gave her my heart but she had the ability to break it in one small second, some may think i'm just being over dramatic but I say that I truly loved her. I been trying to move on for a while but it's barely even working. Either way I do have to go get some coffee for my sisters and myself.

Today we were all left alone with none of our parents here, so we could do anything we want but not that much where we could get killed. Our father hasn't been around for a while but of course we all know where he is... AT WORK. I get ready for the day and decided to wear something simple a dark gray tank top and with some sweat pants since I wanted to dress lazy and no one could stop me from doing it.

I call up Tony and say I need my car up in ten. I start making my way to the front, though the slightest thoughts of Francesca comes to my mind. My hair was messy and fluffy it looks like I had just gotten out of bed. I make it to the front and meet up with Tony. He gives me my car keys, now it's time to head to the coffee shop.

9:45 AM: Driving down the road and speeding by while cutting through different lanes, no one had stopped me since Tony was with me, if I was with some other body guard I wouldn't be driving this wild. Though if I had gotten into a car accident Tony and his family will be in big trouble for the rest of their lives. I try not to do thats so often but whenever I feel angry I drive like i'm a maniac.

We stop near by some plaza where everyone is joyful and happy and sell their unique items or special foods and drinks. Yet the coffee area was pretty far so it was a lot of walking, normally the place has all different ages of people which is really nice about this plaza. I stop by some locals and buy some things since I had nothing else to do with the amount of money I had, the amount of money my father gets reminds me of his filthy works, it's ridiculous.

Some time passes by and by that time I end up finding the coffee area in the plaza. I head over to our family's absolute favorite coffee stand in the plaza "Caffè del sole" which is "Sunshine Coffee" in Italian. The flavoring for their coffee is amazing and the smell of the coffee beans makes me drool like I was some dog waiting for breakfast while waiting in line.

As waiting in line a Mother and her daughter come over in line standing right behind me and Tony. I felt bad since her mother was caring more items then how me an Tony were so I asked them onto getting in front of me in line, "Ti piacerebbe muoverti davanti a noi?" (Would you like to move in front of us?) I say. "Thank you so much! Are you sure?" I was stunned that they known english, normally this plaza everyone speaks Italian but this world is full of surprises. "Yea i'm sure! Please." They step in front of us and the line continues while some get tired and bored.

    The line was pretty long, since mostly everyone is here for the coffee no one stops by at the small shops to get their coffee they end up getting cookies or some small snacks to eat or sometimes they come for their coffee but that's rare.

   "I'll be right back Elena." her mom says. "Oh ok.." I'm assuming that she had went to go get a small snack for them while they wait in line but I guess not. Her mother had ran to the clothing area and left Elena here. I wanted to make conversation with her but that'd be awkward. Some of the line gets out because of how long it's taking, yet still no sign of Elena's mom here. She turns around to see where she is though when she does she turns back to me and says "Do you see her? Your super tall.." I take a look around and I still don't see her "Nope I don't see her"

She looks deep into my eyes but so do I to her, she was very pretty I'll admit. She was also confident of herself, she had was wearing a Light blue tube top with light blue denim shorts. Her hair was black and her perfume had smelt so good. I don't want to get attached to her so fast, I just wanted to get to know her well and become friends first.

"Next." Elena steps up and starts ordering but she's nervous bc her mom isn't here yet. Along the distance you could see her mom running towards her and her coffee. "Can I have just have a cappuccino and some water?" "Yea total would be $10.50" "alright" she gives the amount to the man and now waiting on the side as her mom comes by. "Elena" she then goes up, in the mean time I found some paper on the floor, I grabbed it and started to come back up and all the sudden water splashes over me.

"OMG, IM SO SORRY!" "HERE!" And she grabs a napkin and starts cleaning water off my face, I take her hand off my face and say "it's fine don't worry!" "It's just water and I'm happy it wasn't coffee! I'll buy you some more" "Oh no please don't I already ruined your shirt." She says. "It's fine trust me."

   I hand her over their drinks and  her mother asks "Is there anything we can do for you?" I look over to Tony and give him a smirk. "Can me and your daughter exchanged phone numbers?" Elena's jaw drops. "Oh, yea sure.." I hand her over my phone and she hands over hers, "done" as she gives me a smirk. I said before and will say again, she's confident and that's what I like about her. I check my phone and she had her name and a red heart already next to it, while in her phone I put it in as the same.

   "It's time to head home we're getting late." Tony says "Oh yea sure." We head home, yet I wanted to text Elena so bad but not for now. We could do it some other day, or time and we could save that for later on now.

   I hand over my siblings their coffee that they wanted. I head over to my room and get on the game and chill for a few hours. I started to think about who I met today, and what I've done. Which gives me a lead into texting Elena. Maybe a new future for me.

Yes I haven't posted on here for a few weeks. I'm sorry, but I'll try and be more active for right now! Sorry for the inconvenience! Though Lorenzo and Elena seem to be a very nice flirt and very confident with each other could this be the start of a new chapter for him? Or could this just end the same way it did before?
