His One & Only

9. Surprise.

   Rosetta POV:
    I decide to meet Rafael, I got ready and decided to meet him after he gave me a cute snack with a cute note. I haven't talked to him in for days and I know it's my fault too, but now I want to make things right and not leave him wondering about things.

After getting ready I go outside and start looking for him near the cars, but he's not there. So I ask Tony on where he is.. "Oh he went out to the plaza, I said I could cover for him." "The plaza?? Why?" I say, "He told me he wanted to meet some girl I forgot.." those words made me stunned. Was I really making him feel like this? Was he's already talking to another girl? I know I was pushing him away, and now I wished I never did. "Oh ok cool cool" then I walked off and went back inside.

That doesn't make any sense? Why did he actually what you put in effort for a little bit then decide to go talk to someone else? I don't know.. maybe I'm overthinking it, but it's definitely something. I don't love him but I do, but I feel like I love him more like a brother then a guy I've kissed ONCE.

I miss him, but then I really question if I really do miss him. It was just a one time thing I say...

Later on I go ahead and run to go get some new outfits for myself, I was feeling a skin tight black short dress that has laced back, that's only if they have it, I also needed to get a few new sunglasses random but it's needed.

No matter how badly I push away the fact that he was meeting another girl, what if they both really liked each other? Yet we both are in the wrong to kiss each other after that night, no one saw... I hope not. If I can go back in time I don't think I'd want to change it.. yet maybe a different place.

My dream was to always fall in love with a man who loved me and showed me care and affection, yet I hate men to my guts. They disgusted me in some sort of way, they are nasty I rather get hit by a train than getting with a man who is clingy like crazy. I would want to meet someone on my own not from some stupid Mafia nonsense, as much as I love my family I want to see where else my life can go besides "The Mafia".

I hop into my G-Wagon and start heading over to the market place, I then enter into "Hot Mamas!" And find a good friend of mine, Mary. She works at Hot Mamas and is a great women, she's independent and a great business owner. "Heyyy long time no see Mary!" "Omg Rosetta!?! It's been so long!" "Haha ikr!" We both then give each other a big hug, hugging Mary is like hugging a big teddy bear, so warm and cozy you'd always look forward to.

    I tell her on the dress I wanted she said that she has a room for me to try on all the options so I go on and head over inside. She has three options for me, one is laced up only for the arms. The others are just the ones I like, I end up buying both of them and head out and say my goodbyes to Mary. "Bye Mary! Thanks so much for the dresses!" "Oh honey, no problem enjoy the rest of your day!"

    Walking around the plaza and getting cute items/accessories for outfits that I have at home, I decide to go near the water balcony they have at the plaza. It's the cute place to take pictures or vlog or do anything, it's the perfect place to be when your feeling upset.

When heading over I go to the water balcony a place that has the sea right behind me and big waves crashing into the rocks below me and also a small cafe behind it. I order a small iced tea because I was really thirsty and hot, as walking over to the cashier to order I see Rafael! I didn't go up to him because I heard he was meeting a girl today, and I want to know who she is. Not trying to stalk him but.. just wondering out of curiosity.

He walks over to the pick-up section and texts someone on his phone, I end up giving a fake name for the order it's not like the cashier will know. "Rafael!" One of the workers scream out, he takes his bag and heads over to the water balcony heading to sit down somewhere there. I pick up my drink a few minutes later and start to walk over to him. Then I pause, and I see that he's sitting with someone lady who's absolutely gorgeous. She's stunning, jaw dropping dead gorgeous.. Who is she?

    I go over not to close but try to listen to their conversation but all of the sudden one of these kids started running around and bumped into me! "Hey?!" Next thing you know those kids ran up to I assume, their mother which was the lady Rafael was sitting with.

Rafael then noticed me, "Rosetta?" "Ohh hey, what are you doing here?" I ask. "What are you doing here?!?" He says in an exciting voice and laughs it off, "I'm here with my cousin, she came out to meet me! But you can't tell your father I'm already in some big trouble besides this." I nod and say "yea sure don't worry!" And give him a smile. I never knew he had a cousin with such young children... he never even mentioned cousin before.

    "Rosetta I'll catch up with you later back at home, I'm going to show my cousin around and where I live and my new life!" I then say my goodbyes to them and head on home. That was pretty awkward.. I hope I never have to deal with that ever again.

     Time passes by and next thing you know it's already 9:00 PM, I'm in my room scrolling through my photos with Aurora and then I hear a little bang on my window. It sounded like a pebble getting thrown to mg window, of course I look down to see Rafael all the way down asking me to come with him somewhere.

    I'm only wearing my lace trim PJ set but since it's pretty chilly outside I throw on some sweats over my shorts and a jacket and try and sneak out.

    Sneaking out is the worst in this place, every where it's guarded with someone or something. Though I don't need to worry Rafael has some access to a few things that could probably get me out.

    I meet up with him on the side and he tells me, "Rosetta I'm taking you some where, come with me." As he sticks out his hand for me to hold so he could bring me too his car. "Ok Rafael.. don't get me killed" I jokingly said. He takes me to the Jeep that he owns, while holding onto my hand he's in a rush like dragging me but I still follow along I laugh while he does it. He opens the door for me and even puts on my seatbelt, wow!? You don't ever get this so often now these days.

     He gets into the car and he starts driving off. "Soooo where are we going?" I ask, "well that's something for you to find out."  "Don't do this to me Rafael!!" I say in such a whining voice. "Don't worry.. just trust me." and he reaches out his hand for me to hold. "I trust you." I start holding his hand and butterflies came rushing into my stomach. Tingles everywhere, head to toe! All I can think of is how much I really do love this man.

I'm so sorry I've been busy with school and started getting into new things and I've been having no time to post on Wattpad anymore but since summer is coming up I'll try posting as much as I can but finals are also coming too!
