Hello everyone! Here is another chapter for ya!^^

Shota woke up later in the evening somewhere around six-thirty, his sharp eyes traveled around the familiar darkening room. He shifted a bit feeling the small weight shift with him, as well as a tired sigh.
He looked down and saw Shokiya on her stomach, head resting on his shoulder comfortably, her warm breath tickling his neck. His eyes shifted upwards, and there his wife was. Though she was asleep, she still looked beautiful. Her head was tilted slightly making strands of her hair frame her face more, her long dark lashes brushed against her cheek bones, her pale skin seemed to glow in the faint sunset light.

"Her eyes are also a beautiful color like her hair." He thought.
Just as he thought that, Elaina's eyes opened, her lashes fluttering lightly. She glanced around the room, feeling eyes watching her. She looked down to see her husband surprisingly awake.

"Well look who's up early." She whispered smiling.
Shota couldn't help but smile with her at her joke, seeing as he was the sleeper in the family.

      "It's six-thirty-seven." He deadpanned.

She raised a brow as if to say 'so?'.

      "P.M." He finished.

Elaina's eyes widened in shock. She wasn't supposed to sleep that long, she still had dinner to prepare. Even with her advanced power, it would still take a while.

      "Pizza?" She asked sheepishly.
Shota shrugged the best way he could, since Shokiya had yet to move.

"That's fine with me, and I'm sure Shokiya wouldn't mind." He replied, not really caring what was for dinner. As long as he ate something that helped his hunger, he was happy.

"Speaking of our mini version of you-" Shota snorted softly at that random, but true comment, "she's not going to want to go to sleep tonight thanks to you." Elaina huffed.

Shota grinned dryly at his partner,

"Not my fault she loves me."
Elaina sent him a playfully stern look, stretching.

"Well since she 'loves' you so much, I'll give you the honors to waking up the little devil she becomes after sleeping."
She smirked when she saw the scowl Shota threw at her for her sly stunt, as she slid out from under his head and went to get the tablet to order pizza.

Shota groaned, knowing that his sweet kitten turned into a menace when in the process of shaking off sleep.
In all honesty, he should blame himself for passing down that trait to her, because he is exactly like that if he is awakened from his rest if not on his own accord.

Shota sat up slowly, cradling his child lovingly. He brushed a few of unruly strands of hair from her childish face.

"Shoookiiiyaaa."He hummed slowly, "Wake up kitten." He shook her lightly.
When he got no response, he opted to lift her away from him, hoping she would awaken from the lack of warmth. That seemed to work as the child whined in protest, opening her tired hazel eyes that were glossed over from sleep.
She blinked, and a scowl formed on her face.

"Uh oh." Shota thought, hoping that she would wake up happy, which is a rare occurrence.

Shokiya's eyes traveled up her father's arms that still supported her limp body, up to his scarf and finally his obsidian orbs. Her scowl deepened, as she yawned, rubbing the sleep from her eyes.
When she opened her eyes again, she was more alert and aware that nap time was seemingly over. She glared back up at her father, surprising him, due to the fact that she was normally very affectionate, though he did not show it.
