"What made you want to join the Bard Track?" Eda asked as her classmate finished up a song on their violin, opening up their music folder to pick another song to practice. Raine smiled at the question. Eda always seemed to take an interest in their interests, which they hadn't had before. It was nice to have someone who liked hearing about the things they cared about.
"I think it started when I was little" they replied after a moment. "I've always had my anxiety issues, and music was one of the only things that would calm me down" they explained. "And then, as I got a little bit older, I started getting curious about bard magic and music theory... Other boring stuff"
"It's not boring" Eda insisted, fully meaning it. "I think it's really cool, the things you're able to do. Besides, if it makes you happy, then it's automatically good on principle"
"You're sweet" Raine said with a gentle smile as they decided on their next piece to work on, raising their violin up to play. Eda smiled and leaned back, taking in the music. She recognized it to be a piece Raine had been writing recently, the working title being 'Raine's Rhapsody'
