Chapter 4

Puck's pov

I got engaged to Quinn! I've loved her since the beginning. This is gonna work out. And who knows, maybe another accidental pregnancy soon. At least she'll keep it this time, I wanted to keep Beth. Senior year Quinn tried to get her back but Shelby was a good mom. 

]We're here seeing sectionals that Finn taught (Rachel helped though). The Unholy Trinity (Q, Santana, and Brittany) performed the Ariana Grande song, Problem. They sounded really amazing. Quinn's voice is so soft and angelic. 

After the show circle sectionals was about to start and since the new directions drew first performing (oof) we had to get in the audience. 

All of us alumni took our seats. Rachel and Finn were still in the choir room, probably making out. 

Mr. Shue and Coach sat in our row with us. It went, Mike, Tina, Kurt, Blaine, Brittany, Santana, Quinn, Sam, Coach Beiste, Mr. Shue, then Rachel and Finn's seats. Artie sat next to the row because a wheelchair can't fit.

 To our surprise Sue Sylvester got on the stage. Huh? 

 "Okay, it's Vice President Sue Sylvester and I have to announce some random high school singing clubs with kids who dream to be Lady Gaga but it won't happen. Whatever, let's get it over with. Your judges are Bubbles (the party magician), Donna Landries, and sister Tracy. Now our first contestant...William McKinley High School's New Directions." Sue announced.

 The curtains opened and the guy Rodrick went on stage. The music for the Maroon 5 song, Closer started to play. The dude could seriously sing though. Kitty started singing Halsey's part of the song. Both voices worked well with each other. 

After the song Ariana Grande's song, Break Free played. I really enjoy Ariana Grande's songs. There was confetti and the kids sounded really good. 

"Finchal...I gotta admit this was actually really good." Santana said. Agreed. 

"We know." Finn and Rachel said at the same time and laughed. 

They were definitely making out in that room. 

Quinn laid her head on my shoulder. I kissed her forehead. 

After the songs the New Direction kids joined us and took their seats next to Finn.

 "Hey great job you guys." Finn whispered. People said good job.

 "Good job." I said and I put my thumbs up. 

Other groups went, then the Dalton academy. The new kids don't know why we hate them but it's a long list. Sebastian was still there singing. He literally threw a rock salt slushie at Blaine, it was supposed to be Kurt. None of us will ever forgive him. We all clapped and stood up for the Warblers because of sportsmanship (except for Santana who looked like she was gonna gag any second, but what's new?) I didn't want to but Q made me clap. 

The stressful time came and Finn, Rachel, and all the new kids stood on the stage while Sue announced the winner. "In fourth place we have Crawford Country Day." We all clapped.

 "In third place we have the Unitards!" Sue exclaimed. Okay, either first or second. 

"And In second place we have the Dalton Academy Warblers." Sue said. Let's go! We won! 

"And in first place...How is this possible? I guess the New Directions." Sue announced walking away. 

"Sucks for you Warblers but I don't care." Santana said.

 "They deserved it. They were really good." Quinn told us. Oh by the way Q was talking about the new directions. They were really good. 

 "The New Directions will always be great." Mr. Shue said. 

"Agreed." Coach Beiste said.

 "They also won by far. How did the Warblers come in second? They sucked." Brittany said. 

Sue gave Mr. Shue the trophy and Sebastian and Kitty shook hands. He looked annoyed but what's new. Afterwards, we joined the team in the choir room. 

"Amazing! You guys were perfect! I think I could speak for everyone that you guys won by far! For most of you this was your first sectionals, and wow I'm so proud! Congrats! I think we should party!" Finn exclaimed happily. 

"I actually knew you guys would win so I brought some bubbly and Kurt got pizza delivered to the school. No alcohol duh." Rachel told everyone.

 Kurt seriously is always prepared. More than any of us. 

"Good, I'm starving." Spencer said. We all laughed and ate food. 

"For the start of a successful year." Finn started.

 "Cheers!" We all exclaimed, tapping our cups together.

 I saw Finn and Rachel and guess what? They were making out haha. 

"Hey guys we're gonna do a group number with the newbies, all of us in one song. So stop making out and come." I walked up to them. 

We all went to the middle of the room and the band (when did they get here?) started playing Edward Sharpe's and The Magnetic Zeros' song, Home. Most of us alumni had solos (I sang one with Quinn then another verse) then after the first chorus each newbie had a line. 

"We just sang a song with legends!" Jane exclaimed. 

"Group hug!" I exclaimed. We all hugged.

Quinn's pov

Sectionals were a lot of fun. Noah drove me home. At the end of the car ride we were kinda making out haha. When he parked...duh. 

I had to tell my mother. I'm not in contact with my dad at all. He cheated on my mom and kicked me out when he found out I was pregnant and said terrible things.

 I walked up to the door hand in hand with Puck (sometimes I call him Noah, other times Puck). "Your mom knows." He whispers. 

"Really?" I questioned. 

"Yeah, I wanted her permission. Mainly because I was scared she'd hate me after...well...I got you pregnant at 16." He told me. He is sweet though. 

"Such a gentleman." I chuckled. We walked through the door. 

"Hey mom." I greeted my mother who was on the couch reading.

 "Hi Quinnie, Hi Noah." She greeted us. 

"Hi Mrs. Fabray." Noah smiled.

 "I know you're aware that Noah was gonna propose but he did!" I exclaimed. 

"Congrats! I didn't know when." Mrs. Fabray hugged us. I showed my mother the ring. 

"Nice work Noah." She said. I looked at my fiancé.
