Eddie and you are in his room, you sitting on his bed and him sitting legs crossed in front of you on the floor. "Soo... are we gonna talk about it or not?" he says, breaking the silence in the room. "What do you want me to say?" you reply. "I don't know, reply to my question maybe?" you look at him "Listen. I don't know. I've never liked someone like I like you, and I'm so confused. Yesterday was my first kiss, you were the one who started and you didn't even tried talking to me about it after. I had to go to you. So you see, I'm confused about everything, Eddie!" That was a bit rude... maybe I should've said that in a softer way... You put your elbows on your thighs and bury your forehead in the palms of your hands to hide your watery eyes. "It's just a yes no question, I don't understand what's so hard about it" he says, standing up. "I knew I liked you since the day we met by our locker. So just think about it, you like me, or not!" Eddie said that with an angry-ish voice tone which made your eyes water even more. "WELL GO FIND YOURSELF ANOTHER GIRL SINCE I AM APPARENTLY TOO STUPID TO REPLY TO YOUR QUESTION" "FINE" he says.
I fucked it all up. He'll never want me again. You sob, your face still buried in your hands. A few minutes pass until something finally happens. You feel the mattress sink to the right. You assume it's Eddie sitting down so you don't look, lest there be discomfort in the air. You think he's going to talk, but instead, you hear Eddie's guitar, and then his voice."Oh, baby
Oh, man
You're makin' me crazy
Really drivin' me mad..."He's playing a song. Oh god, he's playing me a song.
"...That's alright with me
It's really no fuss
As long as you're next to me
Just the two of us
You're my, my, my, my kind of woman
My, oh my, what a girl
You're my, my, my, my kind of woman
And I'm down on my hands and knees
Beggin' you please, baby
Show me your world..."Is the song about me?
"...Oh, brother
Sweetheart
I'm feelin' so tired
Really fallin' apart
And it just don't make sense to me
I really don't know
Why you stick right next to me
Wherever I go..."You raise your head and finally look at him. He's so pretty.
"...You're my, my, my, my kind
of woman
My, oh my, what a girl
You're my, my, my, my kind of woman
And I'm down on my hands and knees
Beggin' you please, baby
Show me your world"Eddie plays the last chord of the song and lets the sound fade out completely before he looks at you. "Wrote it for ya..." he says, scratching his neck. He takes both your cheeks with his hands and look at you right in the eye "I'm so sorry for yelling at you, I shouldn't have" you take one of his wrist and move your thumb back and forth for Eddie to understand you forgive him. "I'm sorry too" "No! Don't be sorry, I'm the one who should be, I should never have pressured you to reply" he wipes away your tears with his fingers and you feel the cold metal of his rings on your cheeks. "I like you Eddie" he stops moving and his eyes become wide open "Really? Oh really y/n?" a big smile appears on his face "Of course, why would I lie about that?" you laugh at Eddie's joy. He stands up, take your hand and spins you around one time. He grabs your hips and brings you closer to him "You're beautiful darling" he says, whispering in you ear before burying his face in your neck and attacking you with lots of kisses on your face. You laugh, and jump on his bed. You lay down with Eddie, face to face. He kisses you on the tip of your nose "I'm so happy when I'm with you" you pass your index finger slowly over his face "You have no idea how much you changed my life, do you know that?" you reply. He lays on his back and you put your head on his chest as he plays with your hair.
(The song Eddie is playing belongs to the artist Mac Demarco and it's called My kind of woman, I said Eddie wrote it because it was cuter and also because I think the song really goes with the story. I'll put the song bellow so you can hear it! ^^)
