10.singing practice

Hitoshi's pov(I know unexpected) :
(After Aizawa got out of the hospital/ 3 months till the entrance exam)

Dad decided to start socializing Izu , it was going rather well. But what dad and pa didn't know is that ever time Izu felt overwhelmed he would come to me.

I don't think Izuku wanted them to know ether so I didn't question it. But one day Izu walked in on me during singing practice.

(This is what he sounds like)

"I've got a record player, that was made in 2014" I heard a creak from the door but decided to continue.

"Dyed my hair blue , it came out a seasick sorta green" it was Izu, and he was looking at me like I just preformed the best trick in the world  .

"I like vintage dresses when they fall just below my knees " he sat in front of me on the floor.
"I pretend I scraped them climbing over trees" as I finished the verses

"Do you wanna try?" I asked genuinely curious.
"I-I can try but I don't know how to sing" Izu responded .
"It's fine just follow after me."
   I started with just me .
"I've got a record player that was made in 2014"
"Dyed my hair blue it came out a seasick sorta green "
"I like vintage dresses that fall just below my knees "
"I pretend I scraped them climbing over trees "

I pointed to Izu to signal for him to join. He took a deep breath and..we sang perfectly together.
" I've got a record player that was made in 2014" woah he's not bad...
"Dyed my hair blue it came out a seasick sorta green"
"I like vintage dresses that fall just below my knees" he got a bit more confident with it.
"I pretend I scraped them climbing over trees" 

" Dang Izu, you sound good "

"Really?"

"Yeah, why don't you come practice with me more? It would be fun." And just like that we started singing together every day, when dad and paps were out on a patrol.

It was fun, but little did I know how much I was helping him by doing this.

Izuku's pov:
(Two months till the entrance exam)

I've been practicing with Toshi for about a month now. I've gotten pretty good at singing, I'm surprised that dad hasn't found out yet. Not that I'm hiding it from him, it just hasn't come up yet. Nekage and I have been practicing swapping places and we've gotten pretty good at it. It comes in handy when multi tasking. Nekage even found a way for him to temporarily take on his own form. It kinda looked like a mini version of my cat form. Though he can't go very far. But like this at least no one will think I'm crazy. So far Toshi is the only one that knows about Nekage, the look on his face when he saw him was priceless.
(Authors note : Nekage is like dark shadow but more intelligent and doesn't really like being in control of a body that's not his own)

  Today it the day we go down to paps agency/ radio station. I still don't know what they're planning to have me do exactly. I'm so glad Toshi is coming with us. At least if he's there I won't need to hide behind dad. I'm pretty sure dad doesn't mind but he normally glares at the person making me uncomfortable , it's kinda scary.

Anyways I wake up and get dressed in a black sleeveless hoodie with cargo pants that have an elastic waistband, I tuck the seam of the hoodie into the waistband and pull my tail out of the tail hole . I also grab a tight elastic belt and put it on. Now if I shift I won't lose my clothes.
I started to go down stairs to see that everyone is already eating breakfast like normal, except today we have a guest. It's auntie night . I'm feeling a bit mischievous and want to have some fun.
  I remember the window that sits right across from my room and carefully jumped and landed in it window seal , I lowered myself like a cat preparing to jump. Dad noticed me and grinned. He knew what I was about to do. Toshi noticed his grin first , then paps and they stated looking around. Auntie night saw his grin and looked a bit startled. Finally Toshi saw me and was trying not to laugh. My tail was flicking like a cat stalking it's pretty he pulled out his phone and started recording . This didn't go unnoticed but paps and dad tried not to give it away.

Suddenly I leaped down and hugged auntie night from behind. She practically jumped out of her skin before realizing was me. She gave me a rib crushing hug as revenge. Paps was on the floor laughing and dad was just chuckling at the table. Toshi was somewhat in-between. "Good morning" I say as if I had just walked down stairs like a normal teenager.
" Now where did you pull that confidence out of kid " asked dad and I looked at him and tilted my head as I spoke.
"I don't know, I thought it would be fun "
"Was it?" He asked with a sly grin
"Yeah, y'all's reaction to me in the window seal was probably the best part though " I say with an equally sly grin.
"Well hurry up and eat your breakfast, we got a long day ahead of us." Dad said grabbing another cup of coffee.

I grabbed a cinnamon roll off the stove and took a bite.
"Cannibalism" said Toshi and dad spit out his coffee and paps was back on the floor.
