I know I made Izuku quirk difficult to understand but that's kinda the point for the story. But I would like my readers to be in the know. So here is a quick explanation of what is happening with his quirk.
Izuku has been given many partial quirks , these partial quirks can mix together to form a new quirk. Unfortunately this makes them unstable until they mix.
Current partial quirks:
Energy control
Shadows
Chains
Shift(is literally a giant fluffy cat with long legs)
Intelligence(sense it's a partial quirk it almost acts like a separate person)
Sense
Trail
Intimidation(the combination of a partial voice quirk and a mutation type quirk that is meant to look scary)
Regeneration (inactive)
The best way for them to combine is to use them. Once they mix and fill the parts they're missing, they will become whole quirks and become stable. Different quirks can be triggered by different emotions. Especially the shift quirk due to it already being an unstable quirk even if it is whole .
