After a while, you peaked your head out your room, and left. You saw Jotaro looking through documents.

You got curious.
"Is that.. the documents for the Arrow? And DIO?" You asked.

"Yes.." was all he said.

"May I look?" You asked.

"No.." he said coldly.
"It's highly sensitive, and best if only one of us knows about it.." he said never taking his eyes off the papers.

You sighed deeply.
"Okay.."

"And by the way, I want to drop by Josuke's place.. I need to have a talk with him" said Jotaro.

"Okay.." you then turned to leave him to work. You saw the landline was unoccupied.

You nervously bit your nail and turned to see Jotaro, face buried in papers.

Gently picking up the landline, you calmly walked it back to your room, and shut the door.
you were able to reach your bedroom with the long cord, but only to the door.

Sitting on your knees, you opened a phone book of Morioh and searched the book.

"Higashikata,Higashikata..,Higashikata... Ah! Higashikata!" You found the landline number and dialed.

You heard it ring, each ring only raised your anxiousness.

You heard someone picking up on the other end. With an annoyed and tired tone he answered.
"Hello?" You heard a male voice.

"J-Josuke, it's y/n" you said as you twirled your finger around the cord.

His tone changed to a more gentle and nervous tone.
"Y/n? Hey- what's up?" He asked.

You got nervous, you didn't really think you would've gotten this far.
"I.. just wanted to let you know that I-.. Mr.Kujo and I are going to be staying in town for a little while longer " you said blushing softly.

You bit on your nails.
"Really? That's great! Uh- to go investigate the town right?" He asked.

"Yeah, of course! Why else would we stay?" You said laughing nervously.

He laughed as well.
It became awkward. You slapped your forehead with the palm of your hand to pull yourself together.

"Hey Josuke.." you said roughly pulling and twirling the cord.

"Yeah?" He answered.
You only wondered what he looked like on the other side. Was his heart beating just as fast as yours? Was his ears red?

You sighed deeply.
"Jotaro wants to come by later today, have a talk about something with you.. I'm not sure what about, he won't let me in.. but if I had to guess it must be something about what happened with Angelo.." You said.

"Ah, alright.. I have to go to school right now but later today I'll be home" he said. He sounded a little disappointed, like he wanted to hear something else.

"Then later this afternoon we'll talk" you said with a soft smile.

"Yeah, I'll see you later y/n.." he said just before handing up. You listened to the peeps of a call ended. You tightly gripped the phone as you wanted to talk to him more. But mad at yourself for ending the conversation.
