Pokémon fan fiction Injured in Kalos

Chapter 1

All the airports needed to be fixed so Ash was stuck in Kalos untill they were fixed, not that anyone minded much. Ash spent his days training just waiting for a new adventure and everyone else just did their own things. One day while Ash was out with everyone in the forest near lumiose city when he felt something while battling Alain, he looked over to see what was happening but ended up losing the battle because he and Greninja weren't focused. Ash Greninja fainted and as a result Ash fell back. "I thought you were about to beat me for sure." Alain said, adding a little laugh to the end. "Guess that's what I get for getting distracted." Ash said walking over to help Greninja up. "Distracted? By what?" Alain asked, confused. "Its nothing." Ash said, still feeling like he was being pulled by something although the sensation had tone done after Ash Greninja went back to being Greninja. Ash looked towards where he delt like he was being pulled but made no attempt to move towards it. "I'm gonna go check on lunch I'll be back soon." Alain said noticing his rival seemed distracted by something. "Okay." Ash said still pretty distracted. Alain left and Ash just stared toward where he was being pulled. Ash looked over to Greninja who was also staring that way. "Do you feel it two?" Ash asked Greninja. "Gren." Greninja responded. "Do think we should check it out quick?" Ash asked. "Gren Gren Greninja." Greninja stated. "Okay lets go then. Come on Pikachu." Ash called to his buddy and Pikachu scampered up onto his shoulder.

Company POV:
"Hey guys." Alain said cheerfully when he arrived where they were all camping. "Oh, hey Alain. Did Ash finally manage to beat you?" Serena asked in a playful tone. "No, actually he got distracted and I won, he was about to beat me before he got distracted though." Alain said. "Hm that's strange Ash never gets distracted from a battle." Serena said thoughtfully. "Well thats not completely true Serena." Bonnie Chimed in. "Yeah, whenever Ash has to rescue someone he drops whatever he's doing." Clemont said. "Or when team rocket attacks." Bonnie once again happily chimed in. "Yeah that's true but he never gets randomly distracted when battling." Serena said, a little worried. "I don't think its anything to worry about Serena." Clemont said, noticing the worried expression on her face. "By the way dinner is almost ready so you might want to go get Ash." Cemont told Alain. "Alright then I'll be right back with Ash." Alain said and walked away to get Ash.
A few minutes later...
"Hey Alain, where's Ash." Clemont asked when Alain returned. "I dunno he wasn't there when I got there I searched for a couple of minutes and found nothing." Alain said. "We should probably all go looked for him them." Serena said, worrying. "Alright justlwt me go get Bonnie real quick Clemont said, as he set dunner down on the table. Once Clemont had gotten Bonnie they all headed out to search Alain led the way to where he had last seen Ash, but Ash still wasn't there. "Do you know which way he could have gone Alain?" Serena asked, noticeably worried. "He was looking off in that direction before I left so maybe he went that way." Alain send as he pointed in the dire rion he thought the trainer might have gone. They all headed off in the direction Alain had pointed hoping they would fund Ash.

Ash POV:
He, Pikachu and Greninja had set off in the direction Greninja and he felt was pulling them. Eventually they arrived at a little open field and what Ash saw shocked him. It was "D-Darki?" Ash exclaimed. Darki heard Ash and immediately upon noticing them sent a shadow ball their way. Ash pushed Greninja out of the way and bareky managed to dodge the shadow ball. Ash and Greninja started the bond Phenomenon even though they were both tired from walking and losing to Alain not that long ago they started battling as best they could. It was a fierce battle and neither side was ready to quit but Ash knew the battle would be over soon, Greninja was exhausted and Pikachu was barely managing to dodge the attacks that were being sent its way. Ash was thinking about what he could do, when Darki sent a shadow ball towards Pikachu that Ash knew wouldn't miss its target, so Ash flug himself infront of Pikachu to protect it from getting badly injured, Ash was thrown back into a tree drom the attack but he had kept Pikachu safe and that was all that mattered to him. Ash's breath had been knocked out of him and he was trying to catch it as Pikachu and Greninja ran up to him. "Pika Pi?" Pikachu asked once it was next to Ash. "I'm fine just need to catch my breath." Ash responded not wanting Pikachu to know how badly he was actually injured. Ash stood up and told Pikachu to use thunder bolt before he started clutching his chest trying to hide the red he knew would be there. Ash was getting ready to tell Pikachu a counter attack for the shadowball Ash assumed Darki was about to send out bht it never came instead a big black sphere formed above Darki and it sallowed everyone up as Ash was forced to look up towards the sky.

Ash was in a pitch black area that seemed to go on forever. Ash was all alone with his thoughts and the pain in his chest but he ignored it and kept walking hoping to find an exit to this place. The moment he got hit by the shadowball kept replaying in his mind, even though he tured to push the memory away it kept replaying and making Ash's pain worse. After what felt like days of walking aimlessly Ash finslly decided to just scream hoping someone might hear him, there was no response so he screamed again. This time something happened.

Story:
After about 20 minutes of walking the group finally arrived to the field Ash was in. Alain was at the front of the group and was the first to notice the badly injured Ash sleeping in the middle of the field. Alain and Serena ran towards him as soon as they saw him with Clemont and Bonnie close behind. Ash was on his side so Alain rolled him onto his back and Ash winced in pain although still asleep. "Ash. Ash! Wake up! Ash!" Serena yelled hopelessly in an attempt to wake the trainer who was now surrounded by everyone including his Pokémon who had managed to just barely dodge the attack. "We need to get him back to Sycamore's lab to treat his injuries." Alain said in a rushed tone. "Agreed." The rest of them said in unision. "Charizard can you come helped me out?" Alain said as he released his friend from its Pokéball. "Ash has been badly injured we need to get him back to Sycamore lab fast." Alain explained. Charizard waited for Alain to put Ash on his back and climb on himself. Everyone else was going to get there as soon as possible but they needed to pack up first and its not like they could all fit on Charizard anyway. Charizard flew as fast as it could to the lab knowing Ash was probably in some real danger.
