Why did she disappear
Why did she leave me alone,
Say she would be something
She now is not
She broke a promise
She broke my heart
So now she must pay
And pay dearly she will
For something that is broken
Can always be mended
But will only and always be a scar
Which will never be replaced

I disappeared to get away
Get away from my so called lover
So I said what I'd do for him
But now I did not
A broke that stupid promise
Which should make him pay
For what he has done
I broke his heart
And something broken
Can never be mended
So I laugh and wait here
Playing a game of cat and mouse
Until I build the proper courage
To finally let go
And then I shall leave him
