Break my Heart Chapter 20: Rye's First Love.

Rye watched as the black form faded away and disappeared. He looked down at the bright green grass and sighed. His dark red clothes spread across the grass as he folded his muscled legs. The gold glimmered in the bright new sunlight and he looked out of place among the simple green plants and blue sky.

He missed the glimmering gold and swirling galaxies. He was here for less then a few minutes and he already wanted to go home. How was he supposed to survive till the end of time with these creatures? He gently pushed himself off the ground and stood looking up in the sky.

Again he sighed. He was unhappy with this but he guessed this was fair punishment for insulting his Sister. Even if he himself as a being believed she was being dramatic with the last curse.

What did she even mean by that?

Him falling in love?

Never in his millenniums of existing has he ever felt like he was in love. Was he gonna find a new meaning to life?

But she said he would never be loved back.

Suddenly he heard faint voices yelling from a distance. He turned around and at the bottom of the hill were people in odd clothes. The people quickly came up to him and he turned to face them. He was still in his divine form and towarded over them. He was larger than a giant and they began to speak to him with no fear. He ignored them and quickly looked around for his dazzling gold sword. Once he found his sword surrounded by a group of people clothed in brown and blacks he noticed that they were confused.

'So their mortal minds can not handle the power of my sword.' He thought as he reached over and picked up his sword, careful not to harm the tiny creatures. As he held his sword it slowly disappeared into his hand in a glow of gold light. He heard ooohs and ahhhs from the people there and quickly ignored them before he turned around and walked off.

He still did not like his sister's creations but was forbidden from killing them. So in his mind the best way to avoid the curses was to avoid her creations for his entire existence. It wasn't like he needed to eat or drink in order to live, so he planned to stay in the forest away from and race and just be by himself.

As he walked he realized just how big he was compared to the world, and figured if he was going to hide from the world he would need to change his size. So as he walked he began to shrink till he was the size of a human.

He had watched these creatures grow and change for quite a long time before he approached his sister and knew a lot about them, but he still wanted nothing to do with them.

He wandered the planet for a while before he finally found a dense forest that was neither near, nor disturbed by any race and decided to live there. As he entered the forest he came across all species of animals who came up to him and would rub against him in affection.

As he walked he grew to like the forest as shadows danced across the ground and a soft breeze carried a faint smell of fresh flowers and fruits. Once he found the place he was happy with he tapped his foot against the ground and slowly a building of earth and gold arose from the ground.

He lived there undisturbed for many, many years before something came fumbling through underbrush. Rye disturbed by the noise, came from his house and stared at the bleeding figure of a beastmen.

The beastman pushed himself up and looked at Rye with heavy eyelids, and in that moment Rye knew his peace was forever disturbed. As Rye walked across the forest ground to get closer to the beastmen, he realized the kid was still young.

It was a beastmen with golden-brown fur and floppy dog ears, his tail dropping on the ground. He had bright golden eyes that were half lidded with pain as blood dribbled down his forehead. He was holding his side as he sat on the ground, before he reached out a hand.
