As I sat in the back of my moms car I began to panic on the inside. We were driving to the game and I had to preform in front of 100's of people. My mom and dad were probably some of the best hype men I knew. They kept telling me everything was going to go smoothly and how great I would feel when it was all over. My mom pulled up into the school parking lot. She parked the car in a very wonky way. She was never really good with driving. I grabbed my cheer bag and headed towards the gym as both my parents followed behind.
As we approached the gym door you could see all the people through the window. I opened the door and was almost run over by a couple of what looked to be college kids playing with a basketball. "Watch if you filthy weasels!" A girl my age said as they almost ran her down too.
(Author will be taking sometime for themselves. I don't mean to be greedy but I need to continue to surround myself with people.
