School had finished an hour ago and Julie hadn't come out of her room.
I'll go cheque on her. Luke suggested. Alex grabbed his wrist, stopping him.
"Bro, Too soon. I'll go."
'Alex, dude, You are way too emotional for this. I'll go" I said, Poofing out before they could argue. I appeared outside of Julie's door. I knocked.
"Who is it?"
"It's me, Reggie." I told her. There was a bit of movement before she responded.
"Come in." I walked through the door. Julie wouldn't meet my eyes.
"Hey, we're all waiting for you. We need to rehearse."
"Sorry."
"Are you OK?"
"Yeah." She sighed. "I'm so sorry."
"What for?"
"This." A familiar voice answered for her. Caleb jumped out from the cupboard. I was too scared to move.
"Julie! What the hell!"
"i-I need to see my mum."
"Did he tell you he can bring her back?" she nodded. "he's lying!"
"no, I really can, within the next twenty four hours, you will have your mum back." Caleb promised.
"I'm sorry reggie." she murmured. Caleb grabbed my wrist, and the world went black...
