a/n: starting with kyungsae <3!

On the way from the pool party back to the resort, Kyungsae happily chatted with Chenglei, responding to the points he had brought up before they left. Including, but not limited to her continuing to encourage him to inflate the points on him and Yoojung's completion, teasing him about what he'd consider to be a perfect date, then describing how she didn't meditate but she had tried yoga a few times although her schedule usually forced her to do more dramatic workouts often. She teased him a bit about her fans, saying she couldn't guarantee that they wouldn't come for him, but, as his protector, she'd save him from the wild fans she had.

It really was flattering that he wanted to spend this time with her. Although he didn't have to worry about groups, maybe he still could have used this opportunity to develop some new connections? She wouldn't have complained though- perhaps she was a new connection to be developed to. It made her think about how her cousin was romanced when she was a host last season... With this week's developments, it seemed more likely than ever that she'd get her shot at love too, but she still didn't think exactly about where that shot would come from... If it would even come, really. Thinking about it would bring the mood down so she brushed that thought off on the way to the staff room.

And so they finally made it there. In a not so smart turn of events, Kyungsae kept only her bikini on as the transition from the pool party event back to the main resort continued- by the time she got into the staff room she was completely freezing. "It was freezing out there!" She shivered a bit as she quickly put on her pool party outfit that she was carrying the whole time, as if that would make up for how cold she was.

"Okay! Shirts!" She walked around aimlessly for a moment before walking over to the heater in the room, turning it up on full blast. "I lied! We needed to turn up the heat first. Now, we can do the shirts!" She'd go to one of the cabinets in the room, bending down as she looked in it to find a shirt that seemed to be Chenglei's size. Or maybe she'd tease him a bit again... She was still pondering that.

Chenglei properly enjoyed their whole conversation. Simply talking made it easy to ignore the nerves from them both being half naked with very little to hide. Oh well! Chenglei walked close to Kyungsae, listening to all her responses with sparkles in his eyes.

Chenglei honestly wasn't thinking too much about building those connections. He liked to move slow and really get to know a person. He was lucky with Yohan being roommates, Jinhai.... Having private moments with Yoojung was also really nice. Now it was Kyungsae's turn. Chenglei put his hands behind his back and held his wrist with one of them. His smile seemed the fade the longer he looked at Kyungsae. He had a feeling from the way she tended to go quiet that she was thinking about probably a million different things. She did say her mind was jumbled... Whatever it was, he hoped she was able to sort it out at least a little bit.

"Was it? I didn't notice..." Chenglei was either so numb he didn't feel the wind or... His mind was focused on other things. "You're okay though, yeah? I already got one contestant sick... I would hope I don't give a second person a cold... Especially the popular Kyungsae." He was only half way joking about that. He would be terrified if something happened and suddenly a gaggle of fans were coming for his ass.

"I'll let it slide this time, KK~" He joked and followed her around like a lost puppy. "Is there any in there?" He asked, bending slightly at the hip to try and peak in the cabinet past her. He put his hand on the wall beside the cabinet and leaned against it slightly. "Are they like, woman's shirts? You seem to be contemplating something..." He chuckled nervously and used his free hand to cover a part of his chest.

"Oh no! Don't tell me the hypothermia has gotten to you already!" The idol was genuinely concerned about that but their tone came out as playful as usual. "The amazingly beautiful Choi Kyungsae does not get sick~!" She spoke pridefully as she continued to look for a shirt. "Even if I did, you wouldn't be able to tell! I keep going no matter what else is going on Mama didn't raise a quitter!" Kyungsae didn't have one of those advanced immune systems, but she did know how to brave through being sick.
